And for David to have the nerve to say that Gary is the problem..

Xtopher 28-08-2014 03:59 AM

Yup, it was really hard to watch tonight.

Marsh. 28-08-2014 04:10 AM

That Stephanie is a wench.

achro 28-08-2014 04:23 AM

Hopefully they keep doing it so Gary will win instead of annoying George.

Patricia4 28-08-2014 07:32 AM

On live feed lastnight I watched and people didn't want to talk to him he went to talk to George he spoke a couple of words to him and walked away Gary then went to the kitchen area and Ricci and James walked away from him nobody want's to talk to this guy.Dee then went from the garden and slagged him off for no reason at all what is up with these nasty folk.

This! They're actually making Gary even more popular. The fools! :joker:

poppsywoppsy 28-08-2014 08:40 AM

I watched James say to Gary, Dont interrupt and then go into a long diatribe with poor old Gary unable to get a word in edge ways.

That is not discussion, it is sheer harassment, saying how wonderful James is, blaming his bad reception on Gary and showing no respect for his disabilities, life experiences or age.

James Jordan makes me sick.

Jules2 28-08-2014 09:00 AM

I watched it, it makes my blood boil. Gary puts to much faith in James, J is only trying to boost his own ego and whats this fascination with Stephanie. What was the thing with the suitcase, he made that an excuse for nominating Gary. Then he wants to explain to Gary why he did it, Gary wasnt interested to begin with and just wanted to tell James that he was ok and he held no grudges against anyone. James continues and browbeats G into listening. The horrible little Stephanie is sulking in bed, even though James told G. to go on out into the main room and that Stephanie and him werent going to talk about G. they did!! What a two faced little plonker he is. I wa beginning to have just a little bit of compassion for J but no, he has to go.

The sheep pen have declared that each one of them said moreorless the same thing about Gary so there must be some truth in it. On the other hand could it just be that they havent got any individual thoughts of their own. It only takes one to set the pattern and then, hey presto, off they go.. How does a sheep go, is it Baa......! I guess we could say Bah Humbug!

Had to fast forward David, what a plonker he is, said little in the house but much outside. I sincerely hope we do not have too much of the idiot. Looks and body arent everything all they do is to feed the ego but, ego can very often let you down. Gary was correct, he is a youngun and he has lots to learn, more than most I would say. I wonder how many mirrors he has in his bedroom?

They ALL say Gary is the problem and they are living with him

mr rochester 28-08-2014 09:39 AM

It made very uncomfortable viewing - James just rams his opinions down Gary's throat over and over. He is completely vile, offensive and dare I say it - a bully. Boy is he a bully. What planet is he on not to know why he was booed? Yuk.

jaxie 28-08-2014 09:40 AM

You're repeating yourself a lot Chuff, but I'm not seeing much in the way of genuine things Gary has said that are unpleasant to the housemates. On the other hand lots of us can quote you nasty things the others have said about or to Gary.

Personally if people were speaking to me the way they are talking to Gary I'd be telling them where to get off. I admire his restraint. I'd wipe the floor with dear old Dee and pwecious little Stephanie.

FlippingEck 28-08-2014 09:47 AM

"Harrassment" lol. Oh how quaint. Im going to be really kind to everyone and give you an early Christmas present.

www.dictionary.com if you look on this site, you will be able to find the meanings of the words you're using.. :idc:

I love how the majority of last night's live feed is covered over with bird song, and yet you all heard how vile James was to Gary.. and how horrible Stephanie is... ironic huh?

LOL what point are you even making? Why can't you just accept that sometimes they are horrible to Gary, even if you don't like him?

Really does my head in when people can't ever acknowledge that their favourite is sometimes a d*ck and their least favourite is sometimes nice. We're all human.

Robodog 28-08-2014 11:09 AM

Totally agree with OP.

I wrote this on a similar thread last night so apologies for repeating myself but i'm glad to see so many others agree as it was really horrible watching James talk to Gary last night on the LF.

All i could think for 15 minutes is "GIVE IT UP MATE AND LEAVE GARY ALONE !!"

You know what was REALLY going in James' head last night? Two things.

1. The crowd shouting 'Get James out'.
2. BB relaying James's exact conversation about Audley.

His ego has been pricked by the BB crowd and BB have shamed him further by reading out his exact words over Audley. It has really shaken up his bottle and humiliated and frustrated him.

And so he then goes and takes out that frustration on Gary with another torrent of 'education' and his 'sugar-coated' poison, pretending to 'help' Gary while all the while belittling him and rudely muttering 'oh my god. are you joking etc' under his breath so Gary can't hear him.

That irritating patronising, controlling rudeness delivered with a smug little smile and all the while saying it to Gary as if it's 'for your own good'

It's not just what he says - but HOW he says it, his tone of voice - his lecturing.

You know who else acted exactly that way? Pauline !!

Forget comparisons with Steven Goode - James is the new Pauline.

LukeB 28-08-2014 11:10 AM

live feed or no live feed we already they been vile towards him

Tarryn 28-08-2014 11:34 AM

Maybe after last night Audley may start to stand up for Gary, if only to annoy James & Stephanie.
James is such a little twat. He makes my blood boil. I loved how he started to crawl to Audley when BB revealed he & Stephanie's conversation about him. He is totally afraid of him.
I wish Gary would get up & smack him in his horrible little face

Josy 28-08-2014 11:36 AM

Yeah the live feed showed that they are horrible to him to an even worse extent than what the highlights show. It's disgusting.

Even if you do have a problem with someone you don't completely outcast them, refuse to speak to them at all, completely make them feel that they have no one in there they can speak to.

Dee stuck out for me the most last night, scurrying into the house and telling the others she was 'cornered by him' that's a blatant lie and we saw it, Gary started a conversation with her and that's it.

They disgust me.

I agree and I've noticed they then try to project their own behaviour onto people who like the person they don't by claiming they don't see any fault with them.

I admit Gary is my fav. I don't like how he is being treated. That is a long way from thinking he is perfect.

It wasn't just how they were speaking.

It was how some of them walked away from him when he tried to start a conversation. Some of them spoke to him for a few seconds then walked away muttering when they know he can't hear them, it's isolating him and I really don't know how anyone can deny it happened whether you like Gary or not, no one deserves to be treated like that.

Patricia4 28-08-2014 11:49 AM

Chuff you don't have to hear a lot you can watch and the people who he went to talk to didn't want to know him they ignored him or turned their back on him it was very plain to see.

He hasn't worn the same clothes since entering, that's not true.

Yeah a few people have mentioned his hygiene but maybe they should mention it to him? he doesn't refuse to get showered if remembered to do it, he has a brain injury and these people need gentle reminding sometimes.

Tbh it's not very nice of you to justify their isolating behaviour towards him with insults about his clothing and hygiene. Reminds me of school.

Well you could spare a few seconds explaining to them that they should maybe have a shower or a wash.

The intolerance of some people towards a 70 year old man with a brain injury actually disgusts me.

But when someone did mention his hygiene to him and told him some people might be avoiding him because he hadn't showered in a week, he was labelled as the devil incarnated and was apparently spiteful when he did so

I think that was more about James's attitude in general towards Gary. He is very patronising and condescending, and said it mid conversation when Gary was confiding in him about Stephanie hating him.

I believed it was right of James to mention it to Gary, it's just the way he does things that really rubs me up the wrong way. He just shows little compassion and talks at people lecture-style imo. Not sure if that's why others were annoyed with James talking to Gary about showering but it was for me personally.

Gary asked him why Stephanie didn't like him, one of the reasons why Stephanie doesn't like him is that she's a germaphobe and Gary doesn't look after his hygiene very well, he only sounded patronizing when he was saying it because he has to speak slowly and clearly for Gary to be able to understand him, which has been acknowledged as many people on here, so i genuinely don't understand why people are saying James was in the wrong in that situation
