I eventually want to buy a little farm cottage, pretty much the same as my in laws

But something similar to this with a little pond too

Is there such a thing?
Or should I say, there are so many lovely houses that choosing one is impossible.

Quite fancy the house opposite, it is up for sale, been looking at if every day for nearly 21 years so wouldn't mind living in it, would need a total gut out first mind, all dark wood and dull.
Love the gardens.
Quite like the look of Ammi's.

Oooooh, love josy's, I love stone cottages.

Whatever the house looks like, it needs this

Big house in South West London somewhere. More bookcases than walls. An office to write in. The best kitchen of ever. Comfy couches and huge showers and everything sofy, cosy and homely. Oh and a walk in wardrobe. Wouldn't say no to a swimming pool either. Amazingly good wi-fi that never breaks. Filled with loved ones, laughter and good food.

Princess I see no pics. Don;t come back in here until we see pics :idc:

..hawwww....I'll post more, it would be wrong to just have one dream house..dreams were never meant to come in ones...

Shaun 03-09-2014 03:19 AM

don't have an absolute ideal but something like this would fit me nicely

http://www.urban75.org/london/images...-square-05.jpg

very british, very chic, a fair enough bit of space and somewhere on the edges of a city. pip pip. i think i'm just attracted to those styles of door... but something quite georgian on the interior, too

http://housetohome.media.ipcdigital....iving-room.jpg

those sorts of fireplaces, ceilings etc... not a fan of those sofas/stools/curtains but still  i suppose a good example would be 10 Downing Street... but i'm not whoring myself for that apartment.

i wouldn't really like a detached house, let alone somewhere in the country, but then i suppose that may change as i get older...

Shaun 03-09-2014 03:23 AM

you've got me looking at stairs-porn now...

...I've already got James Caan lined up for the part of Ben if the book ever gets written and turned into a movie...I reckon the age of James Caan now is just about right for him....

Shaun 03-09-2014 06:23 AM

wood could be nice on the outside but I hate it inside... especially wooden flooring. My mum's obsessed with it (to the point where we just have floorboards ) and it just looks like we moved in and never bothered decorating

Ammi 03-09-2014 06:23 AM

..oh jeez, I hope James Caan is still alive because that was really disrespectful if he died...

Marc 03-09-2014 06:24 AM

..I love natural wood like oak/it's the most warming of things and has such a 'safe' feeling about it...

Shaun 03-09-2014 06:27 AM

Marc 03-09-2014 06:28 AM
