Get that poser Henderson off next

Brother Leon 03-09-2014 08:40 PM

Welbeck instantly making them play better. Shock.

Hopefully he can start getting some respect playing fully at Arsenal.

King Gizzard 03-09-2014 08:47 PM

how did Delph not get MOTM

Drew. 03-09-2014 08:55 PM

What a ****ing dire game, Delph and Welbz need to start ahead of Rooney and Ox. Rooney slows the whole team down and Ox isn't working in CM

MTVN 03-09-2014 08:55 PM

Well whoop de bloody do

Pretty sure you were saying even Lallana should start ahead of Welbz for the World Cup :idc:

Drew. 03-09-2014 09:05 PM

I was

Samuel. 03-09-2014 09:09 PM

Lallana will walk into this England team once he's fit and starting regularly for Liverpool.

Drew. 03-09-2014 09:12 PM

Lallana off the back of an amazing season, one of the most exciting English players last season.. Be mad to start Welbeck on the left ahead of him. No chance Roy was shifting Sturridge after his season either.

BBfanUSA 03-09-2014 09:13 PM

The Yanks knocking off Czech Republic.

Tarryn 04-09-2014 11:33 AM

Loving the fact that the media are up Welbeck's backside now he has left United. Everyone slated him before but now he is the one to rescue English football.
The media are so two-faced.

King Gizzard 04-09-2014 12:57 PM

Yeah but it's mainly because he's a guaranteed starter upfront now. You never knew at United, 2-3 players better than him in his position

Novo 04-09-2014 08:25 PM

I'm so proud of you Gingerbear <3

King Gizzard 04-09-2014 09:33 PM

King Gizzard 07-09-2014 11:26 PM

Brother Leon 07-09-2014 11:46 PM

Never had such little interest in England. Welbz leaving has pretty much ended my interest

King Gizzard 07-09-2014 11:47 PM

but delph

Samuel. 08-09-2014 12:08 AM

Not watching an England game until Hodgson is gone tbh

#votingwithmyeyes

Irritates me to no end the nonsense people go on about English players not being good enough. You've got counties with lower league players in their squad playing good football, yet Roy with regulars in the top four in supposedly the best league in the world never look anything above mediocre. Hopefully we lose tonight, Roy gets the sack and somebody actually decent steers us to attractive, or at least convincing, performances.

I think the main issue is we've had defensive minded managers for so long, it clearly isn't the style that fits the players or what the fans want to see for the next X amount of years.

Had many reasons to hate Roy for his time at Liverpool alone...

MTVN 08-09-2014 04:05 PM

Poor Liechtenstein 1-0 down to Russia already

The England squad is no where near good enough regardless of Manager. Compare it to Germany,Spain or even France in Europe. The difference is scary. What England should do is build around an attack of Sterling,Sturridge,Welbeck/Walcott and just utilise the pace that there is in the squad.

No where near good enough to be winning competitions, yes, but easily good enough to be playing good positive football and able to convincingly beat teams like Norway. I'm not saying we have potential to be world champions, but we certainly have the players to dominate a lot of the teams we play with a goal margin to show for it.

Samuel. 08-09-2014 06:24 PM

Had my text posted on the BBC live update thingy :dazzler:
