I got a free sim with 20 quid on it from a mobile company called kontakt. I was never going to need it because I have a contract so I was going to use it to vote for gary. But it will not work. It just beeps and disconnects or says invalid number.

It may be the mobile is set to not allow calls to premium lines by default, thats quite common

Is there anyway you can check the number,maybe try voting on a landline then you will know if its the mobile company or not.It's strange tbh.

it will be connected to the sim card/phone company settings probably. It should be easy to change if it is a restriction with a call to the phone company of the sim card

Might not be a fix but Gary must be losing a lot of votes. People who try and give up, not to go back and try again.

No way thats never Georges mum is it? I wouldnt be giggling at someones mum spending so much money on voting that would be understandable.

Its not a fix or anything, likely just a sim settings issue ... and this is coming from a Gary fan. :)

Its not in BB's interests to stop people giving them money, particularly on their most popular housemate :laugh:

They may have many tens of thousands of pounds already invested in Buffoon Georgie Boy or Truffle Pig Dee to win because they believe(d) they have a 'Jade Goody' type phenomena on their books and are already busy coming up or developing show formats for them. On the Pros and Cons on a Voting theme on the Channel 5 website the other day, they summarised Gary and James as "creating conflict" and stated that "the house would be a much more peaceful place without them" (or words to that effect) whilst on Truffle Pig Dee's they said; "the mother of the house- very caring"( (or words to that effect) whilst on Mommies Boy Georgie's, they said how "nice" he was and "Now, he's the type of house-mate we all want, isn't he?"(or words to that effect). Add to that the - unbridled - bias towards Georgie Boy and Truffle Pig Dee on BBOTS and it's clear that 'Demnmark' is not the only state where 'something is rotten' :wavey:

Wouldn't surprise me.

I have £30 on 2 sim cards that I have no use for so I may as well vote for gary 60 times.

Feels like a mad way to spend all that credit but with a contract I don't need any of it.

Pretty sure gary will win by a big margin though. He still had nearly half the popular vote in polls a few days ago. I can't see how another housemate can catch up with that.
