New Icons
 

So a while ago, i spoke to Josy/James about new icons for the forum and came up with these, hopefully they're gonna be implemented soon 👀, but i just wanted to see what everyone else thought of them :dazzler:



there's 2 of each b/c apparently we have one for unread sub forums (the brighter one) and read forums (the normal colours), there's more for the other sub forums, but those 8 are like the main 8 so yeah :tongue:

They're not brighter as such, behind the icon image, it's like a white light

You could rotate through the bright colors, or do each section's icons a certain color.

They're nice, but if I was just scrolling down or whatever, I wouldn't be able to notice the difference between the two.

Will the whole forum change to the circle icons or will it just be non bb chat?

I've made icons for the other forums too XF/iac etc, I'll post them when I'm on my Mac they're a lot smaller because of the image I put in them, but you'll see the size they'll be if/when they're implemented

These look really good, what happened to this idea? The current icons are in need of an update now imo, we've had them for ages and they're mostly clip art, though these look really fresh :flutter:

It's not so much that the current ones are bad (they are IMO), they're just a bit all over the place and have no cohesion really. Main page looks a bit confused. Maybe tie the designs in with the TiBB homepage? Or is it possible to have them different for each forum theme?

It's basically impossible to not see them. They're a bit of an eyesore imo
