Just catching up and Louis said (on xtra factor) that he never wanted 8 people in the group and he's going to talk to the members and see what they want to do about it.

Would probably be too harsh to just kick some of them out the competition but I'd not be surprised if they split them into 2 groups of 4 and just had an extra double elimination

I think the 8-piece boyband idea has been leading to them being cut down for dramatics since the very beginning tbh

It is really harsh to do though so I can see your idea working.

About 6 of them are irrelevant arseholes so just trim them down to a decent duo.

Just let that James guy sing every single song for them, while they sit in the background and they should be fine.

Get rid of the 14 year old creepy one and the Irish one who gave Cheryl **** on Saturday and it's fine.

I don't like the goofy looking one with the horrid teeth either tbh, visually he looks more out of place than the 14 year old.

If they had to get rid of a few then I'd say goofy, 14 year old and the one I can't remember...because I can't remember him lmao.

It would be better if there was less of them imo, that one guy that sings the most is a decent singer, one or two more are alright singers then the rest are actually awful.

He is but he's really striking looking and he's quite distinctive which you need in a group I think. He kind of looks like a white Aston Merrygold :laugh:

Boybands are about appearance and image. Vocal ability is secondary.

I agree that 8 is far too many. Just keep one who can sing and the 3 cutest of the rest.

They need to ditch the fat 14 year old and the boy who looks 12.

Axe them and bring back Blonde Electra but add Chloe, Steph, Raign and Kerianne and make them a 6 piece band.

If they axe members through the lives it'll just prove the show is desperate for drama and messy af

So you're saying to the people that aren't horny teenage girls that we have to put up with boring, cheesy Music all the way until the final just because the teenage girls need to get a quick fix? Because boybands tend to go far on this show and I would rather them actually be decent than just being terrible and taking the token 3rd or 4th place role every series.

I don't like there being that many in the group and definitely think that about 4 of them could be cut, but to do it at this stage would be abnormally cruel.

The name is awful, how they chose that as the best is beyond me,the same with 'Overload',when did the 'Overload generation' happen.

I cannot see them cutting them down now as to members, with the 'live' finals under way it would make no sense or even be fair either.

Personally, I cannot see them being in many more weeks anyway and no way have they any chance of winning it.

Maybe the next Sunday results show should be each of the 8 members performing alone and the public votes for which 4 members stay.

Then Dermot can reveal the band one member at a time ala Popstars: The Rivals. :laugh:

Then get eliminated altogether the week after.

Agree, the rest don't work, problem is one of the prospective rejects is 14 and ITV are keen to avoid disappointed kids on talent show scandals post BGT.

I don't know why they decided to put all 8 in the band in the first place, they aren't all even that good, there are four or five ok ones, the others shouldn't be there. They need to cut some members from the group, I have a feeling that this was planned from the start anyway hence why they could t have the word eight or anything related to it in their band name. I say just get rid of all of them and let Louis concentrate on only the young, who I also feel sorry for as they are decent with a crap mentor

I agree. Those 5 would work very well as a group. The other three hardly even sing.
