anyone gone to a concert before even though they've lost their tickets?

im so ****ing annoyed. I put them in a safe place and i cannot find them. i paid over £200 for everything months ago and the tickets arrived just last week.

i got them from ticket master... i have a reference number, account and everything to prove I bought them.

has anyone managed to go to a concert when they've lost tickets?

i could cry

i havent even packed and i leave at 6am tomorrow

Locke. 24-10-2014 08:52 PM

Phone the venue beforehand and explain

If they're in your house just stay calm and try to remember where you put them. This always happens to me. I hide the tickets, then forget where i put them.

You can print them at an internet shop, if you have the time.

Cherie 24-10-2014 09:10 PM

Print ticket master confirmation off at an internet cafe and take ID to the venue

Drew. 24-10-2014 09:11 PM

Yes i snuck into a Girls Aloud & Saturdays concert

Vanessa 24-10-2014 09:14 PM

I need to buy a printer this year.

GypsyGoth 24-10-2014 09:19 PM

:conf2:

I really hope you get it sorted, fraid I'm not much use.

Maybe if you take a moment to just check your room, just go slowly through everything. Also I think you should get packed.

Feeling much better now

T* 24-10-2014 11:36 PM

Just go to a shop/travel agent/hostel/hotel and beg them to use the printer

Most places have internet access and printing facilities, even if you have to pay.

Mitchell 25-10-2014 10:08 AM

We once didn't receive our tickets, we phoned up and they basically said we had to go to the box office, with the credit card and we'd get them there.

Also I think if you phone them and ask them to print new ones, they cancel your old ones so you can't use them.

LukeB 25-10-2014 10:39 AM

Oh no! Hope you get all of it sorted

Josy 25-10-2014 11:02 AM

Any luck?

Ninastar 25-10-2014 12:50 PM

Nope.

Told me there was nothing they could do. Cried on the phone to O2 arena and ticketmaster. Had to buy a second pair of tickets.
Will type up more later before I have a panic attack from anger

That doesn't sound like they have given you the correct information, for a start the tickets might have got lost in the post as long as you have proof of purchase, the card you bought them with and some form of ID they will be able to reissue at the box office. I assume the second set of tickets are crap seats as all the good seats will have gone?

Shaun 25-10-2014 01:00 PM

That's appalling customer service :/

Marc 25-10-2014 01:02 PM

Kill them

Cherie 25-10-2014 01:05 PM

 just looked at ticket master site and it says to treat your tix like cash as they can't always replace them, if you had seat numbers I can't see why they can't reissue, standing tickets would be different I guess

Ninastar 25-10-2014 03:45 PM

I quests I can understand too...

But what my argument is, is that if the reason they can't give me spare tickets for standing is because 'health and safety' yet I've managed to get more tickets, surely I could have gone anyway?

I'm so mad, going to be in so much money troubles now. All the money I get for my 21st will now have to be spent paying people back and I'll probably have to get a second job.

I feel like taking it further, but no idea how I can.

If my tickets had been stolen, this would have been the same outcome. Can understand if someone lost them, but how is it right if they got stolen?

LukeB 25-10-2014 03:48 PM

Awr :( hope you are okay

Awww, i'm so sorry. :(

T* 25-10-2014 05:02 PM

Can you ask for a refund for your first tickets?

GypsyGoth 25-10-2014 05:02 PM

 Those assholes!

Hope you can put it out of your mind and have a great few days

andybigbro 25-10-2014 05:03 PM

That's shocking. Contact their customer service on Twitter I think it's @ticketmaster_CS

Tell them to cancel the barcode on the current tickets, and re-issue you knew ones!

yup, Companies hate when you complain in public and they try to hush you and do what you want them to :amazed:

Creggle 25-10-2014 05:09 PM

That's seriously messed up that they made you buy a 2nd one  I'm pretty sure there is something you can do about it, if you're willing to pursue it, that is terrible ethics.

Smithy 25-10-2014 05:33 PM

If you got ticket insurance on the first lot of tickets you should be able to get a refund, just say you were ill or something

Yeah, i think so. I got insurance for the last ones i bought. They were over £ 100.

Calderyon 25-10-2014 06:01 PM

Never been on a concert myself. And don´t really want to be if i´m honest. I don´t like crowded and overly noisy places.

Hope you find your ticket though.

lostalex 25-10-2014 06:02 PM

if you just need a printer you can buy them for like 20 bucks these days.

Caitlin how did you pay for your first tickets?

If it was on your card I would honestly contact the bank and tell them you want the payment reversed because you never received the tickets.

Ninastar 25-10-2014 06:38 PM

Don't think I have insurance but thanks anyway
