Speaking about the launch of the next series in January, Willis suggested that the casting is always "the best thing" about Big Brother.

"It's always got a cast that the people behind the show know will make magic on screen," she said. "It's always done so well. There's a lot that goes into the thought process of how these characters are all going to work together."

Willis admitted that she had sneaked a look at the cast list for the next series, saying: "I normally stay very blind to it all right up until the last minute but this year I've actually seen part of a list very early.

"This is going to be one of the best ever series of the show. I have such high hopes for the series - that's how good I think it's going to be. You won't not recognise anybody if it stays like this. This year seems like a proper stellar cast and that's always great to watch."
Willis also revealed that she enjoys the Hollywood stars who appear in the show, saying: "They're always great. On the whole, they don't have a clue about what's going to happen to them. They're quite naive to it all and they think they're going to take part in some TV show, get their cheque and go."

Willis - who revealed that her dream housemates would be Paul O'Grady, Lindsay Lohan and Tom Cruise - added that she is excited about the new twisted fairytale theme.

"I've seen the mood boards and the new eye for the series," she said. "It's got me very excited. I'd describe it as a dark fairytale theme.
"My favourite movie of late is Maleficent and it's totally like that. Angelina Jolie is amazing in it. I've seen all these visuals and it literally looks like my favourite movie."

She added: "I think I actually want to dress up for the launch night. I'd love to be the wicked but tortured Queen."

Willis also explained that she still loves working on spinoff show Bit on the Side, saying: "I could have just given it up but to be honest I love it and it's where I get to be a fan again.
"I know I get a lot of stick from people saying I'm not impartial, but I think I am. When you're doing a debate show you have to post positive and negative statements about everyone. I try not to be negative but if someone's gone in there and acted like a plonker then how can I be impartial? It's tricky in that respect.

"But I love it. I get to stand in a room with fellow Big Brother fans and talk about the show. Doing the main show I'm at the helm and running the show and being very professional but then late nights during the week I get to go into a little studio and talk to people who are just as bonkers about it as me."

Celebrity Big Brother returns to Channel 5 in January.

Well she's hardly going to say 'the cast is okay, nothing special' is she. :laugh:

I don't mind what level the celebs are on, as long as they're entertaining that's the main thing. In general though usually it's the z-listers you enjoy more than the expensive celebs.

I don't think this will be entirely the case, I expect the usual cast off, an X factor contestants, someone from Gogglebox, someone from Gypsy Wedding/benefit street type shows. The rule about no TOWIE, Chelsea or Geordie Shore was never confirmed by Channel 5 either...

Likely story :laugh:

But the rumours so far have been brilliant tbf.

To be honest the line-up in the summer was supposed to be the best ever, and I think everybody on here could only recognize 4 at most on launch night.

Amazing that a c5 budget can get a better cast

I think people are unfair on people from reality shows being on BB, some of the best celebrity housemates had been on reality shows before imo

Charlotte Crosby (Geordie Shore)

Oh yeah in the summer she said the line-up was gonna be "current" & the only thing current about it was kellie who turned out to be awful housemate. Definately no more current than cbb13's cast or any other one.

A fair few more than Kelly were tbf.
