Big Brother gives Katie an easy way out -yawn-

Seriously what a **** twist, telling Katie she has to be nice or basically not have to keep her act and take people on in person

Shaun 07-01-2015 09:47 PM

It's very convenient  and basically the blueprints to a "oh she's nice really! let's give her the win!" plan

Amy Jade 07-01-2015 09:48 PM

I hope they rig it to keep her in

Ammi 07-01-2015 09:48 PM

..well they always had to try to keep her in and this way, she has an excuse for being characterless....

GiRTh 07-01-2015 09:50 PM

No matter what they do to help Katie I',m sure she's gonna ****** it all up on her own. She cant stop herself,. SHe actually believes her own hype.

Would you not rather she prove herself by taking people on in there?

LukeB 07-01-2015 09:51 PM

it be interesting to see how she does tbh

Brother Leon 07-01-2015 09:53 PM

It's so they can call her up later to give her some lines and Material to use when they aren't live anymore. She was struggling heavily on her own really .

Cherie 07-01-2015 09:56 PM

I doubt she picked the two to go, given she complained about the American bias

No it won't, she can be a normal person now instead of acting like a dick so everyone hates her, she'll be delighted about that. She can act like she does in real life and hide behind the diary room door to spew her bile like she hides behind twitter, she doesn't have to face any real people as per usual

..her insults in the task were almost playground standard but didn't quite reach that height..

Scream 07-01-2015 10:00 PM

we know you hate her, we get it and it is a crap twist but it's not like she's going to have to act nice for the whole series and we're never going to see her without this 'twist' is it

Exactly. The whole thing is naff. You would have hoped that the producers would have learnt from recent BB-related fails. Unfortunately, many ****witted viewers will endorse this cr@p approach.

CaudleHalbard 07-01-2015 10:01 PM

I think Katie will spend a lot of time moaning in the DR.

Jamesy 07-01-2015 10:02 PM

To be fair they will only keep this going until Friday at most

Tregard 07-01-2015 10:04 PM

Nice of them to give her a day off of pretending to be nasty

Oh pardon me, it's only launch night you could atleast wait a few days before accusing me of banging on about stuff :hehe:

Jase. 07-01-2015 10:19 PM

Nobody wants to watch Hopkins being nice so I have NO idea where this twist has come from. What an epic fail :joker:

Exactly my sentiments to my wife. Katie's entire performance was just that - a performance, as if it was scripted, and - exactly as you say - the 'instruction' by BB telling her to be nice to everyone was a very convenient device which saved her the embarrassment of being two-faced and nice of her own accord.

Disappointing B.S. and I hope this isn't 'setting the stage' for the rest of the series.

Also, I have to say she looked much more at ease while "acting" nice then "being herself" while critiquing her HMs, don't you think?

I agree they will try and keep her in as long as possible because they like the "controversy" but actually i think there are more interestng **** stirring characters in there this year. She is someone who needs someone to bounce off of unlike others who are intersting on their own.

YAS! It was scary how good she is at being two faced-guess she's had lots of practise lol!

I don't think she was acting at all though is my point, I think the whole vile bitch thing is her act hence why she looks more comfortable out of that role

I don't think she's saying Hopkins is nice. She's saying Hopkins can't keep up the one liners/'telling it like it is' as she likes to tell people she can.

Doing a 5 minute TV interview is piss easy compared to 24/7.

Lol thank you but it wasn't meant to be a compliment to her, I'm not sure which is worse, that she really is the way she tries to portray or that she's that desperate for attention that she'd pretend to be that way

Oh it wasnt a compliment to her but you-i remember your posts from the last BB and you really are too nice lol. I think it would be worse if its an act because some of the stuff she has endorced is super ****ty like that "pick up artist" who teaches men to go up to women they dont know and strangle them to get their attention. There was a loody good reason he was banned from the uk and she wanted to get him in! Shes a bell end for sure.

True!

Northern Monkey 07-01-2015 11:28 PM

Exactly.I just said this in another thread. Why did'nt they tell her to be twice the ***** that she normally acts.Who the **** wants to see her being nice?A boring setup.

Yes I do, Niamh. Exactly so. It's as if she was awkwardly reading a script to be 'nasty', while the 'acting nice' bit was a welcome relief and more 'naturally' the way that she wanted to be perceived by the other HM's.
