Forum Fans

Do you ever notice that each Big Brother you tend to end up liking the same people as a certain forum member/s almost everytime? And which forum members do you find you usually agree with?

I've noticed I usually agree with Girth and like the same people as him

InOne 21-01-2015 03:32 PM

I normally likes the HM's that aren't well liked. There's been a few of the same people in the minority crowd. So the main thing I notice is that I end up arguing with the same forum people every year LOL

bots 21-01-2015 03:34 PM

Probably true, though i think I'm more drawn to similar tone and substance more often than not. Nothing wrong in some friendly banter even between like minds even if you disagree on something i think

Shaun 21-01-2015 03:35 PM

I usually have the same taste in housemates as Braden, Macie Lightfoot (although certainly not some of his old faves, but then I was young when I watched them), Dezzy, GypsyGoth and LemonJam... I'm sure there are lots of others but those are the members I've noticed supporting the same people as me quite often.

abhorson 21-01-2015 03:36 PM

Even getting on with a few Helen supporters this time  But in the main yes.

abhorson 21-01-2015 03:37 PM

the Truth lol

Samm 21-01-2015 03:38 PM

I agree with Hayden a lot not on this series, I had a lot of the same favs with Jordan

Raph 21-01-2015 03:38 PM

joeysteele and Locke, our favorite seems to be the same pretty much every season. Also LukeB and I tend to have similar favorites, and occasionally Drew, Jake and MTVN.

Lostie! 21-01-2015 03:40 PM

Me and JellyFantastic always had the exact same taste in housemates. I don't see the handsome devil around anymore, though. </3

But seriously, I've never really noticed a trend of supporting the same as other FMs from series to series. We seem to be on the same page with everything this series, and looking at your favourites it looks like in the past we've both supported the same, and supported very different housemates, depending on the series. :laugh2:

sampvt 21-01-2015 03:44 PM

I always seem to end up on the opposite side to Niamh and Josy but not by design. I need to start looking harder, lol.

sampvt 21-01-2015 03:45 PM

Personally I think its more of a morality thing. Older people tend to like the nice hm and the honest ones. The younger element tend to like the controversial ones

AnnieK 21-01-2015 03:46 PM

I've noticed a lot of people like the same people each series and they usually completely disagree with others. I guess if you get on well with people you will tend to have similar likes and dislikes.

I generally don't like anyone (certainly this time I don't like anyone enough to champion them)....not quite sure what that says about me

I don't know if you can generalise people like that tbh Sam, I've seen alot of the "older" people on this site have very different views and favourites to eachother

I'm 22 and I much prefer the nice housemates.

I mean, I appreciate the drama brought by controversial housemates, and I definitely think they're needed, but I only ever want nice to win.

Cherie 21-01-2015 03:55 PM

I'm normally on the same wave length as Suze, not on Nadia though

LukeB 21-01-2015 03:57 PM

Yeah, Me and Raph mostly have the same favourites.

Kazanne 21-01-2015 03:57 PM

I think Joeysteele and I usually agree ,not sure this time though, sort yourself out Joey:joker::joker::joker:Was against Chuff last year but we like the same this year,it's a mixture really with most ,other than Joey, think this might be the first year we are opposite:laugh:Oh and Gillian and I often agree,

Liam- 21-01-2015 04:04 PM

Nope, I'm too much of an individual :smug:

From my experience on the forum, the majority of people stick to liking the same types of housemates, my taste in housemate is far too erratic most of the time.

Omfg about time!
Your the first person I've seen who has Callum as your favourite housemate. I was beginning to think I was the only one.
Wasn't keen on Jeremy, though. Sorry.

Anybody who likes Helen (BB15), Luisa, and the CBB15 housemates listed below my posts. We have a lot in common.

sampvt 21-01-2015 05:53 PM

I tend not to agree with anyone in particular but there are some posters I respect and some \I don't but as for siding with FM's I am pretty much out on my own there.

It's not really like that for me if I'm honest it seems to vary a lot each season

Jøsh 21-01-2015 06:57 PM

Every HM i want to win always comes 3rd.

joeysteele 21-01-2015 07:04 PM

I am often in accord with Josy and Raph the last few BBs anyway.

I used to be totally in accord with Kazanne right from first joining tibb and still recall our many battles with others on here for Ben Duncan.

We like who we like really and it really takes a housemate to be really awful and someone I cannot stand to be unpleasant about them.
I try to respect that we do form attachments to housemates when BB is on and that just like me, others have their feelings to as to the people they like.

Same, I tend to find myself agreeing with different people every series

The only thing that stays the same is that I am always right

Joey, what a great year that was,now I need to have a word with you about this years brood :joker::joker:

Pink Pegasus 21-01-2015 07:36 PM

Edited because I don't think my last post actually answered the question.
I spent more time rambling about past housemates that I liked and disliked rather than whether forum members often supported the same people as myself! :)

I think I grew to enjoy Gina as well for entertainment value.
I did NOT like Sallie.

I supported Jay in BB12 and couldn't stand Aaron, I might be wrong but I think MTVN was another Jay supporter.

I liked Jasmine Waltz at one point.

I liked Jim Davidson.
I also liked Liz Jones.

I liked Helen last series and didn't like Ashleigh. Although I don't think I was as much of a fan of Ash, Kim and Steven.
I also liked Chris in this series.

I wanted Rex to win in his series.

I loved Ben Duncan in his series.

I liked Freddie Fisher and Marcus in their series.
I HATED Bea...

I liked Aisleyne.

I was not a Gary Busey fan.

Some of the people I have supported were described as vile, nasty , disgusting, or bullying human beings on this forum but for whatever reason I could see more good in them than bad and they usually did quite well in the show.

It's a bit of a change this year to not be supporting a housemate that regularly gets called vile or a bully. (I can't stand Cami and not a huge fan of Katie H either)

Not sure if there's a trend either with the type of housemates I like, sometimes they have been the loud, shouty confident types, other times they have been the underdog picked on, or else not very loud but kinda quirky and /or very funny types.

I'm not sure if there are many posters who have shared all or the majority of the same people I've liked in the past??

Aha yes I was a fellow fan of the great Jay McKray, think we were in quite a minority with that one lol. Although most of my favourites have differed from the rest of yours I am sorta similar in that some of the housemates I've liked have often been the most loathed on here. Admittedly its partly out of contrarianism but I've also seen more good in them than just dismissing them as terrible human beings or what not. A lot of the time I think it's been that their flaws are just a lot more obvious, I don't think there's anything wrong with that: humans are flawed and people respond to the claustrophobia and intensity of the BB house in different ways. Part of what makes it all so interesting to watch and talk about I guess.
