Personally I love when it's so dark that I can't even see my hand in front of my face, it just feels so peaceful, it's like I'm the only thing that exists or matters. :amazed:

it does not bother me at all, i need the darkness to help me sleep, i can't sleep when it's light

I like the dark, except when I go to the loo in the middle of the night. I always feel like something is going to grab me and I sprint across the landing and back to bed, feel safe as soon as I am in bed.

Have done this since I was a kid...in every house I have lived in the landing always freaks me out and I don't know why. Maybe I should see a therapist D:

I don't mind darkness. When I go to sleep I like to be able to hear something. I normally out a music channel on and set my TV timer for half hour.

With me it's bridges!! It's not a question of how high a bridge is, just that I feel anxious if I have to cross one.

..I love waking up to the darkness in the early morning hours when everything is really still and then watching it get light...but then if you stub your toe before you get to put a light on, it's not so good..so a bit of both really....

It has to be dark for me to sleep

In reply to the OP, it has to be dark for me to sleep, but i prefer it light, i hate the dark winter, but love when the light returns in Spring, i hate when the nights start to draw in in Autumn.

Doesn't bother me well maybe it would if I was alone in a grave yard or something :laugh: but generally speaking I much prefer it to be pitch black when I want to sleep

I love the darkness and the darker the better to sleep in. When I go to the loo thru the night its in the dark and my eyes r barely open lol

I always expected to see a demon behind me, and even now as an adult i still expect to see some horrific image behind me as i look into the mirror, but as a child if someone had their back to me i expected to see their face replaced with a demonic face when they turned to face me......strange!
