Harriet does not support UKIP anymore

Quote:

6. Harriet said in her Channel 5 biography that she was considering voting for UKIP... but she's not a fan any more
"I didn't even go and vote in the end," she said. "I was watching them all, all on the telly, and I thought, 'Oh, you know what, one of you wankers is going to ****** up the country anyway, so bollocks to the vote, I can't even be bothered'. I stopped following them and went, 'Mum, it's a load of crap'. We're not going to be happy with everything. UKIP kept finding out tax things - you've been scamming everyone for tax. I don't support none of them, to be fair. Let them get on with it." And she's not up for people talking politics in the house. "I'll just say to them, 'Go and sign up to be a president somewhere if you want to go talk about that crap'. Let's have some fun. I don't want to sit and be all serious."

UKIP are a great party to support though

Cherie 18-05-2015 03:07 PM

I read this as Harriet Harman :joker:

Lostie! 18-05-2015 03:07 PM

But didn't she say she voted for them in her VT?

I think the VT was done way before the vote, The interviews was after the vote

Calderyon 18-05-2015 03:29 PM

Backtracking to avoid getting an anti-UKIP vote and therefore eviction.

M X 18-05-2015 03:32 PM

That was the one thing that put me off her in her VT.

Calderyon 18-05-2015 03:32 PM

Also she said in the house that she supports their policies when talking to Sarah.

Jay. 18-05-2015 03:33 PM

I read this ages ago

Denver 18-05-2015 03:35 PM

May i ask why is supporting UKIP wrong?

jennyjuniper 18-05-2015 03:35 PM

I hate it when women can't be bothered to vote, when the right to vote was so hard to get.

Jamesy 18-05-2015 03:35 PM

I'd rather her support UKIP rather than a party like the Tories.

crazycolaist 18-05-2015 03:36 PM

Shes just angry, She must of had something happen in the past to make her feel that way.

- I was a UKIP supporter till 2012, Voted Green.

They're a bit of a bigot party, I mean. Just look at farrage's tatics about being UKIP's leader. Dont think any party has had such a mess. He just threw his toys out the political pram on the interview where he said I quit. (bassicly sore loser) But he has his own union who voted him in hence why green SNP or plaid crymu none of their leaders threw a hissy fit. Bassicly if you want to be taken seriously I wouldnt vote UKIP. You're best of with Tories if you have immigration issues.

vesavius 18-05-2015 03:44 PM

Harriet became all right with me in that conversation with Sarah, when Sarah was going on a not liking working class common people. Harriet clearly said that she didn't mind who came over as long as they came to work, which is pretty much where I stand on it.

TBH, it was Sarah who had the dubious views in that, not Harriet.

Please add IN MY OPINION ,s its certainly not mine ,and this is about Big Brother not poltics

Richkingretro 18-05-2015 06:44 PM

She is thicker than I thought. The only reason someone would vote for UKIP is out of xenophobia.

And I don't know why but even in writing the way that she speaks annoys me greatly.

Be careful, me just joking about it yesterday stirred some misery within the humourless crowd, this could be too much for them to handle.:hehe:

You're giving the BNP too much credit there Adamski94, they're thugs of the worst kind the BNP are.

Well it's an easy mistake to make:smug:

Jason. 18-05-2015 07:54 PM

I never got the hate she received just for supporting UKIP.

I for one don't support UKIP. But isn't she entitled to her own opinion, just like everybody else. So I see no reason to dislike someone just because of what party they vote for.

That's like me disliking Joel, for supporting the Conservatives, when I supported Labour.

It's 2015, talk about living in a democratic society.

They are a very extreme party now, they have lost focus on their basic one aim which is to get out of the EU

I hate the Tories and UKIP, but Joel has won me over by being funny, interesting, and likable, Harriet on the otherhand supports a party that seems to get more bigots to join it's cause than any of the other major Parties seem to do, then there's the fact that she gives me huge Jale vibes with the constant crying and martyrdom that she gives herself.

JoshBB 18-05-2015 09:17 PM

Her constant anti-immigration talk is super off-putting, I'm trying to push that away because I like her as a person but I can't help but dislike her for having those kinds of views.

Lister of Smeg 18-05-2015 09:34 PM

Love Ukip they wind the hyper sensitive left wing middle class in this country up .

JoshBB 18-05-2015 09:48 PM

Funny because a lot of the BNP vote went to UKIP in the last general election. Nick Griffin even supported farage, lmao.
