Would you have used your immunity to save another HM?

No chance I would have used my immunity to save a housemate I had known for less than a week, may seem selfish but stuff that :idc:

Would you have used one of your immunities to save someone else?

andybigbro 18-05-2015 10:17 PM

Nah I wouldn't have :hehe:

Denver 18-05-2015 10:17 PM

Would i hell that ensures i stay for 3 weeks :hehe:

Cherie 18-05-2015 10:17 PM

I think tactically that was a great move

Daniel-X 18-05-2015 10:17 PM

I'd have used it on Eileen if I was in there because I felt the nominations against her were really unfair.

Otherwise no but on this occasion yes on Eileen.

andybigbro 18-05-2015 10:18 PM

Tbh jack won't need to use it on himself so i can see why he did it

Plus he knows doing it would bode well with the public. He's not daft

reece(: 18-05-2015 10:19 PM

Certainly not, I wouldn't be gameplaying like Jack.

LukeB 18-05-2015 10:20 PM

No because I would feel that housemate would only like me for the pass and expect me to use it again on them.

Amy Jade 18-05-2015 10:21 PM

Sarah is my fave but I would have saved Eileen in the basis all the noms she received with utter bs and the idiots needed to stop judging her based on age.

MB. 18-05-2015 10:21 PM

God no

Lostie! 18-05-2015 10:22 PM

I'd have saved Eileen, she did not deserve to be up based on those reasons.

JoshBB 18-05-2015 10:22 PM

Only if I was really close with someone in there

BBDodge 18-05-2015 10:28 PM

If he wants to stay popular he had to.

smudgie 18-05-2015 10:33 PM

No chance.

Unless I thought it would do me good in the long run.

Adamw92 18-05-2015 10:34 PM

If I was in the house and at this point only had like 1 friend and they were up then maybe but it would depend on how I got on with everyone.

joeysteele 18-05-2015 10:37 PM

Yes,this time I would have felt the need to save Eileen, I felt the reasons for her nominations were invalid, so I would have handed her that immunity.

jaxie 18-05-2015 10:38 PM

No I wouldn't but wow how generous is Jack?

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 18-05-2015 10:42 PM

it depends

if it was someone i really liked/would feel lost without them in the house then yeah

Angelika 18-05-2015 10:47 PM

Jack's a game-player like they all are - he's buying friends.

To me he looks like a desperate housemate put on the spot for a second time by crafty BB. I thought those passes were to save his own skin. I still don't know why he passed up the car!

bots 18-05-2015 10:51 PM

I don't understand the immunity pass, if he doesn't use it one week, can he save it for another week or must it be used, so they will expire in 3 weeks? If it would be wasted otherwise, he may as well give it to a mate

Jamesy 18-05-2015 10:52 PM

If they were a really close friend then yes I would have used it.

Otherwise no. I would have held on to the immunities until later on in the series.

If he doesn't use an immunity pass next week he can save it for another week

His passes can be used any time, they don't have a time limit (as far as we're aware anyway)

So he has two immunity passes left which can be used between now and the final (unless he gets evicted between now and then obviously)

jackc1806 18-05-2015 10:57 PM

If my bezza was up I proper would, but otherwise not tbh

Babayaro. 18-05-2015 11:14 PM

Definitely not in week 1 but as you get further into the process then probably as closer friendships will have been formed

Razor 18-05-2015 11:14 PM

No that's a stupid idea.

Dollface 18-05-2015 11:25 PM

I would have if i liked the person

rusticgal 18-05-2015 11:40 PM

It's easy for us to make that judgement outside the house...but imagine how he must have felt. He really had no choice...he would have been seen as being selfish had he decided to keep them to save himself..he would also be thinking about how the public would have interpreted it knowing that at this point he is the favourite. He is going to have man up and keep at least one for himself to be seen as 'human' rather than an arse licker..

Northern Monkey 18-05-2015 11:43 PM

All his generosity may come back and bite him on the arse. He's gonna stop just looking like a nice guy and become a push over if he's not careful.

Agree...:cheer2:

Kizzy 18-05-2015 11:47 PM

No I wouldn't have used it this week, does it mean that a week where there are only 2 up he gets to choose then too? :/

Dash Darington 19-05-2015 03:39 AM

If he's smart enough, he'll realize that using the immunities on others will translate to political power.
  • He won't be nominated, because anyone who feels like they might be nominated themselves will hope that an immunity will be used on them. That can't happen if Jack needs it to save himself.
  • People will have an incentive to befriend him, because he has the power to save them.
  • He gets to look selfless, while acting in his own best interest.

CaPPa 19-05-2015 03:51 AM

By saving someone else he is ensuring that they won't nominate him in the future as they'll 'owe him one'.

bots 19-05-2015 03:57 AM

Playing the immunity card works both ways though. Cristian may be happy, but all those still up won't be, and they wont forget. Also, those that nominated Cristian will be upset that their nomination is wasted. It wouldn't surprise me, if there are ever diary room noms, that he picks up a nomination or 2 each week from here on in.

Vanessa 19-05-2015 04:00 AM

He can save Christian every week. Fine by me. :hee:

..yeah this, I would have given it to Eileen, even if she wasn't someone I particularly connected with in the house because the reasons for those who nominated her were dumb...I hate that thing of not taking ownership of what you feel..just say that you prefer to be around people your own age and not that you think that she wouldn't be happy there and might feel a bit lost...it's like, I think they would like to see their children, or see their partner etc because they're missing them..well if that was the case then they wouldn't have gone in there in the first place..it's not like Eileen would have thought it was going to be an older people's day care centre or anything..she knew what it would be and she wants to be there as much as anything/just stupid reasons and a jumping on a bandwagon thing/maybe not with the voting but with the reason....whether Jack likes her or not he should have seen the unfairness of it..

Natalie. 19-05-2015 06:34 AM

I wouldn't have wanted to but would have felt pressured by BB..

I think the same, once BB mentioned it then in a way you have to play it. We, the voting public have all the power, and Jack would have come across as very selfish if he didn't help out one of his friends.

The immunity would have done him no good if he started to get disliked by the public. So I believe the smart move was to play it.

jennyjuniper 19-05-2015 07:29 AM

Not if you were in it to win it. No matter how much you like someone, sooner or later you would have to get that person out in order to win, so in essence it's wasted?
I think Jack will maybe regret this later on.
