Everything he does is for sympathy. He really milked it this week with the twist and I agree that he only came out and said that because it was in line with what everyone else is thinking.

He's the biggest gameplayer in the house.

It was quite cringe, Marc was being a pratt though.

Danny was outside and no one else looked like they were going to tell him to settle down with his "my house" bs. Fair play to him.

i agree he only did it to look like a hero tbh, if it were danny/cristian/someone else who wasn't a new housemate, he wouldn't have done it.

He reminds me of a charter from those movies. And I wonder if it's cause he is constantly trying to be the nice guy. Like ever since he was voted as the early winner and turned down the car. It's like he's afraid to offend, and having a go at Marc was only done because he seen him as an outsider. But I do feel that the pressure of being the supposed fave will eventually get to him.

Jack had to do things with Harry Amelia in a few hours time, Marc was being rude by not letting him get his rest before the performance.

Dislike him more every new show, all the fake distress when anyone leaves,while all the time he's thinking "One step nearer to me winning" Little does he know ,he also adopted Harriet fake shaking

..yeah I can understand that he may be afraid to offend if he's been bullied in the past with his weight and maybe tries to make himself 'invisible' quite a lot..?..not from the other housemates necessarily but more from the public in having strong opinions about him if he had a 'strong character' because then inevitable his weight could be brought into it a hurtful way...and with Marc in the bedroom..I think it was also because he had the 'green light' earlier from the other housemates/especially the guys in that Marc was annoying them and maybe thought they would all join him but they were tired and just didn't...so a 'lone voice'...

Yep, I think you're right, I never thought of his nice guy personality being a kinda defense mechanism. And yea I don't think there's any doubt that he's been bullied for his weight, not to justify it, but people do tend to go after those different.

And it was like he was on a different page in the script, he was having a go at Marc while everyone else was tolerating him or have a laugh with him. But Marc's reply about - where do you have to go, to work or something? That's one of the funniest things anyone has said this series :D

..yeah I know..:laugh:..I so don't want to like Marc and didn't from the few vid clips I had seen on here yesterday but some things were so funny last night and he's bringing so much to the dynamics and house and entertaining as well...I do think though that Jack's personality is a self defence thing though and with him having picked up the 'pie face' thing as well from others and uses it himself to more 'soften' the insults which must hurt him...it's like, if I say it myself then it'll be more 'jokey'...not that any of that makes an 'entertaining' housemate of course either because 'invisible' isn't what the public want...although obviously I'm sure that he thinks it would be lovely to win etc, I don't personally think that's what is motivating his lack of wanting to offend...
