Shilpa being pathetic and sly.
 

First I would like to state I am neither a Jackie or Shilpa fan and would be please if either go come Wednesday, but I do have to say how pointlessly pathetic Shilpa was being tonight. At the end when she put on her jacket in bed after she heard Jackey say she had asked for the heating to be turned down and then bought Ken a blanket so she looked good also how she was making a big thing about Jackey calling them servants when she herself has servants (she can call them what she wants they still do a servants/butlers job).

And again I want to point out I don't like either Jackey or Shilpa but I think it's unfair how Shilpa is coming out of this looking perfect when neither are.

I know I'm going to get hailed upon by the Shila fan's but I just need to get my opion out...

Why does it always have to be someone doing something with an ulterior motive such as coming off as nice for putting a blanket on Ken rather than it just being acknowledged that it was a considerate thing to do?

It doesn't always have to be, to me this time was obvious what she was doing. And that's just my opinion.

The term ‘servants’ are used completely differently in their culture. You may say they’re just like normal servants, but in fact the wealthier people in Asia just employ them because otherwise the people would be living on the streets and wouldn’t have any income at all! So in no way are they the same.

Also, have you thought about the fact that she might actually be finding it cold?! She has come from a completely different climate, hasn’t she? I don’t see what it’s got to do with her wanting to look good.

Shilpa doesn't call her servants "servants" she actually calls them by their name. And they aren't her servants as such, more home helpers. Being busy and all and having very little time, she has people to help her about.
And alot of the time Bollywood celebs take in homehelpers to help the helpers themselves.

I think Shilpa was innocent in this. She tried to sort it out with Jackiey, but Jackiey threw it back in her face.

I don't want to argue about it I just wanted to get across my opinion, I think it's unfair Shilpa is coming out of this fight looking perfect when I don't thing she is. 'Tis all!

I dont see what she has done wrong. She was just trying to talk to her and she turned it into an argument. Jacke was the rude and petty one. Saying that, her constant crying is annoying me

I don't blame her though, two people have already walked. I'd rather she cry than quit. I hope BB does something soon, so no more people get upset/end up walking. It's a bit of a crap start to the show.

Because I have a right to say my opinion and shouldn't not do so just because some people will disagree.

You may have servants,but you DO NOT treat them in a derogatory manner in which jackiey was treating the others.

jackiey was deliberately annoying the other housemates my making them work more than they need to, even tho its jus really a game. shilpa simply took her to one side to explain her view-point, which ended in jackiey hitting back! jackiey was so rude to shilpa and still shilpa refrained from flipping! tbh, if i were in the same position she wudve had it! and shilpa isnt a difficult name to pronounce, n it is quite insulting to be called something else when u wish not to! by keeping her dignity and calmness intact, she tried to deal wiv the situation. even when she tried to apologise to jackiey(when it shuda been the other way around) she agen was rude, showing that its only someone like shilpa that can forget about things and try n move on. if thats showing up then i dont think so. and about the sweater thing, can she not genuinely be feeling cold? coming from India which is a very hot country, its difficult to adjust to the climate in the UK. and looking after ken was just showcasing how nice she realy is.

and anyways it was a case of celebs[who were asked to be servants cuz it was the part of the task ] here... tats y shil felt bad for them ! :spin:

Youre just talking rubbish really. If youre so desperate to make Shilpa the 'bad guy' go right ahead, but dont be surprised when youre not taken seriously.

She may have servants, but I'm sure she doesn't try to humiliate them, as Jackiey tried to do. I'm sure Shilpas' servants are more like friends to her, i don't imagine she's tries to degrade them. She has respect. From what I've seen of her in the house so far, she seems a very genuine person, with no alterior motives. After watching the altercation with Jackiey and Shilpa, I think it's pretty obvious that Jackiey took it to the nextlevel, Shilpa was just trying to have a civilised conversation with her, but Jackiey went on the defence straight away and became aggressive.

Shilpa isn't putting on a show in my opinion, she's being real. :thumbs:

I'm not mad about Shilpa, but I don't think she did anything wrong at all in this instance. In fact, I think she showed great self restraint. Jackiey was humiliating Leo - and enjoying it too. Shilpa didn't feel comfortable with that, and she tried to tell Jackiey that in a diplomatic manner. Unfortunately, she credited Jackiey with too much intelligence; Jackiey has neither the brains nor the diplomacy to understand what Shilpa was saying. In fact, Jackiey didn't even want to try to understand. Even Jade was embarrassed by her mother's behaviour! BB has made a huge mistake putting that family in.

Jackieys intentions was to have a laugh from what I saw and to live it up while she could...its not going to be often when she will have servants so she was making the most of it.

I personally think that Shilpa found the whole "servants" as an attack on how she lives and she wanted people to know she doesn't treat her servants like that back at home. I think it really hit home with her more than anyone else because we all know that Shilpa has said she has two maids, a hairdresser etc. Even though Jackiey has an aggresive tone to the way she speaks I don't think she set out to start a fight...sheerly because she isn't smart enough.

In Shilpa's normal lifestyle it is not unusual to have servants, but it does not mean that she would necessarily humiliate them. Jackiey has always struck me as aggressive and petty. Even Jade was ashamed of her mother's behaviour.

I think theres some truth in that. Im sure Shilpa was telling the truth when she claimed that she treats her servants well, but there could have been feelings of guilt or just a sense that the task was directed at her and her lifestyle. I think shes been defensive during the whole thing.

Its only ignorant if she continues to mock the servants. From what I saw she was just having fun. None of the servants seemed to have issues with it so why did Shilpa see it as her fight.... If Leo has issues with it he would of said no but from what I remember he was "playing along". Its only a game and living it up while they can was part of the game. Taking such offense to such a small thing made me think the issues are with Shilpa and deeper than it looks on the surface.

We also have to remember that Shilpa & Jermaine made judgements on Jackiey in the showerroom where they think we cannot see or hear. Her voice was mentioned alone and that was only on the first night and Jermaine was talking about leaving already. I don't think one set of people are to blame personally I think its a bit on both sides. I am not at all a big Jade fan or her family but I think both sets of people could have done more to get to know each other personally. Maybe then Shilpa would understand Jackiey was just having a joke around rather than being nasty.

I could be wrong but I thought that it was Jade that Shilpa and Jermaine were talking about. Either way, they were talking about how annoying her voice was. They didn't need to know her to decide that, they just had to listen to her.

I love shilpa, shes very downto earth and kind, she didnt want to make a scene. She seems to be one of the niceest housemates in there!

Both of their voices are rather annoying but I am sure people who are not use to Shilpas could say the same. People shouldn't jugde others on just their voice though or form an opinion of them on that alone. The only person who was actually bothered to get to know them was Ken and even they admitted that.

The "manipulative" word is another good one which people on BBBM have said about Shilpa...I can see where they are coming from that tears can sometimes be used to manipulate but I don't see Shilpa as a manipulative person but she is a hypocrit.

They weren't judging her - they were just saying that she had an annoying voice. It's true, she does.

But someone having an annoying voice is rather a full on thing to leave a show for...had to be more to it than that.
