Compared to other series how you rating this one?
 

Now it's quite a way in how do you rate this series in comparison to the others? Up there, in between or one to forget?

Distinctly average and middle of the road. I don't love it, I don't hate it, it's had its moments but I just don't really care either way. The production has been a ****ing mess though.

I'll use this as an excuse for a series ranking, not thought about this for a while:

It's so bad. But I'll stick around to see how it finishes, won't bother with bb17. The celebrity versions are usually better executed.

Ruined by production manipulation and some poor editing. Not quite the worst though. And an overall poor cast.

Terrible.

its made me laugh three times in the entire series - i used to laugh about 4 times and episode.

I liked the original HM's - it was all over after 4 in 4 out.

Its better than bb 15 and bb13, 14 (imo)

Minus the past few episodes which were some of the worst I've ever seen on BBUK thanks to 'she who must not be named', there's been some occasional good moments thrown in throughout this season but these have mostly been a result of bizarre production decisions and honestly reducing the show to an embarrassing shadow of what it once was. It's definitely felt like the beginning of the end, for civ BB anyway.

Better than BB12 but worse than BB15.

One of the worst seasons. Not one of the worst casts but the production manipulation, no nominations, no live feed etc make it second worst of all time after BB15 for me.

Currently only better than BB4, BB2, BB12, BB9 and BB11 due to the legends.

If the legends weren't put in then this would be the worst ever.

Third worst behind bb4 bb15 for me production has been awful

The original housemates have been reduced to extras.

Way to much pointless twists for ratings and general rubbish production.

i've been watching since BB5, watched all years apart from BB8, and this is the worst year. simply for the fact they've messed around with it too much, putting new people in.

new people are supposed to go in 3/4 weeks in and THAT'S IT. not every bloody week. and not celebrities!! i don't watch CBB. i watch regular big brother to see REGULAR people

Horrendous. We're about 6-7 weeks in and I still dont think I know much about any of the HM's I know all about BRian, Nikki and HElen but not much about the current HMS'

I think it's not the worst, but there's a lot I haven't liked about it. Sometimes I think they just have to mess it up a bit, or the old format will get old. It would be nice, next year, to go back to the original idea, though. I liked it a lot better when Channel 4 had the series, though. And I can remember when people talking about nominations would get punished, and whatever said in the diary room was confidential. Now, people just do whatever they want, and if they try to follow the "rules", they screw them over, throw them out, or accuse them of being too boring.

Personally, I don't really like watching people fight. I mean, if I want to watch people fight, I can just go to a rowdy bar. I think this could have been a good series, if they had just left it alone and ran it normal. Also, if they want to keep the most interesting people, they should have a vote to save, rather than to evict.

So, worst ever

It's been one of the very worst.

Lost all direction after 4 in 4 out and became a weird parody of itself with old HMs and structured reality stars taking centre stage and show staples like nominations becoming nominations in name only. Every day and every week has to have something new and exciting happening, all of which have nothing to do with the actual housemates, and once again the focus seems to be on the belief that arguments are the only thing people are interested in, leading to harrowing uncomfortable hours of television where you can see people becoming emotionally unhinged and others getting lauded for their abilities to hurt other people and not react like normal human beings.

An overrealiance on nostalgia and past tropes, such as Helens toxicity, Nikki's eccentricity and Brian's naivety have backfired supremely, as those people have either grown and changed or completely corrupted the house dynamic, if there ever was one to begin with. It's left us with a show that doesn't know what it is and is barely treading water at this point, it's not got enough development to be a regular series, and it doesn't have enough all stars to be an all star series. The half measured twists, tasks and rule enforcement as well as fairly blatant manipulation have stunted the growth of any actual interaction, with housemates almost afraid to do anything "normal". The housemates don't know what they're doing, the producers don't know what they're doing, and the viewers are left struggling to piece together the wreckage.
