...Chloes expression was jealousy ....plus frustration with herself because her fake dramatics last week have now backed her into a corner where she couldn't take that money today....if she had been honest from the start like Jack and said she wanted money then she cud have....but boy she did want to...sit back and watch her go into full bitch mode again now... |
Then she snapped and was snidey when Cristian talked about deserving it

Haha yep.Chloe is pissed at herself now for taking the 5k.

I feel sorry for Chloe as she so wants to be liked and as such has lost out on a dollop of cash. If I were her I would not give a stuff about the fickle public who like or dislike housemates at the drop of a hat. Out of the morons that are left I hope she gets to win the remaining cash. |

...but when she took £5000, she was criticised and then when Jack took £23,000 it was all...oh, I'm pleased for you mate/so happy etc etc.. so why wouldn't she have 'a face'....
|
chloe thinks she already won, or she deservves to win over others..

The reason Chloe got a hard time over taking the 5k has been covered to death on this forum; she set herself up as the moral guardian of the house when it came to building up the prize fund. If bb said that taking a ****e in the house would cost £100 out of the sacred prize fund, Chloe would've been telling everyone to hold it in. But when she had a direct choice of adding 5k to the prize fund or pocketing the cash herself, the halo slipped, and hms were quite rightly perplexed at this hypocrisy. Jack has many unattractive qualities, but he's at least been consistent about wanting money. |

I think the housemates were complaining at Chloe because they had half a reason to do so because of how against money grabbing she was, they don't really have an argument to make with Jack.. They're just trying to pretend to be happy for him when obviously they're not... Apart from Chloe, credit where its due, I say, shes consistent. |

...anyways, Joel has always thought of it as the winner's money..(even though I don't agree because it's not that until there is a winner, until then it equally belongs to the housemate's left, surely..?..)..and yet he's fine with Jack taking the £23,000... |
I think there is a lot of over analysis of housemates that are not intelligent.
Joel wants to be perceived as someone with high moral standards because he thinks that will win him the game. Chloe and Danny both think they have it won, so they want to see all money go to the winners pot, and if they are given the opportunity to take the money, its fine to take it because they will be the winners, so no harm done. By constant false polls and incorrect feedback, Jack thinks he no longer has a chance of winning, so he will take cash at every turn its offered. Because Danny is Cristians hero, he no longer thinks he can win so will grab money at any opportunity. Nick, coming from a wealthy family, couldn't care less about the money. |

Nobody really can have a go at jack after they justified chloe taking the money as 'life changing,' surely jack deserves his life changed too?...
The concept of BB was always winner takes all and it is annoying when this is messed with, especially when people like conor walk out with it :/ |
She wasn't happy and I'm glad Cristian called her up on it. He's starting to see her unpleasant side. None of them twats were happy for Jack, except Cristian and maybe Nick.
|
They were all tipped off last night regarding how the public felt about Chloe taking the 5k and that feedback came back in Chloe's favour. If it had come back against Chloe, I very much doubt that Jack or Christian would of hit the button.

Christian trying to justify needing the money more than chloe though :/ |

I think Christian is more and more proving that he's also a nice guy....he's the only housemate this year that i have changed my opinion of as the show has moved forward...the others, good or bad are the same at the end as they were at the start for me....Jack saved him from a very likely eviction in week 1 by throwing him life line....Christian will surely have a loyalty to him for that.. Even Dan the Money Man, with all his faults, would respect that Jack has said from day one he's in it for the money...i know why Jack is so popular, there are many reasons, personally he irritates me but i def respect his honesty over the cash and i think Danny does too..Danny probably wished he'd played it more honestly from the start too...if he resents Jack for anything i think it would be more likely for that reason Joel also does not resent Jack having the money, he doesn't agree with it being taken from the winnings but he would blame BB for that rather than who ever pressed the button....if the cash had been a random thing in addition to the winnings then Joel would have been very competitive and would have shook hands with who ever beat him...no question Chloe displayed pure jealousy and resentment...it's so ugly to observe...she wanted it so badly but she'd backed herself into a corner by taking the moral high ground over the previous cash bomb...the look of frustration on her face was priceless as that realisation dawned on her.....she is such an unpleasant individual |

If the guy has a massive student loan because he's trying to better himself then that debt is a big deal to him just like it is to anyone else....i found it sad that he felt he had to justify himself when he doesn't....Chloe has such a sense of entitlement when she plays the Little Miss Work House routine that she would have some people believe that she is in some way more deserving of the money than the others... you are obviously one of those people She has spent so much time making it clear she deserves it more than anyone else....right from the first time she was nominated and went around the group explaining how each one of them weren't as entitled to it as herself...Helen and Marc were right that day and Brian was wrong...its all so clear looking back now and knowing what we know.... She has made the boys feel they have to justify themselves and they don't |

To explain the Chloe thing its like someone said they hate blue very often and very argumentatively and state they would never wear blue. Then they go to a party in a blue dress. I'm pretty sure everyone who heard the tirades about blue would say 'wtf?' It's not so much about taking the money its about all the things said about not touching the money and how selfish it would be. |

If I'd been Christian I would of been a bit pissed that I was slow on the button. That was a serious amount of money for both Jack and Christian. I really hoped that Jack was going to share it with him, in my eyes that would make Jack a deserving winner.
As for Chloe, yes, she's annoyed that she only got away with 5k but I don't think she's annoyed with Jack; just with herself. |

Jack and Cristian should be applauded for being the only two with any sense of reality and pressing the button.
The question should be what is the motives of the others that they'd turn their heads to 23k? |
