The line up actually sounds pretty decent from the rumours going around, so I'm well perched for it

I'm actually feeling excited for a summer CBB.

I'm not sure if I'm looking forwards to this, to be quite honest.

All this theme promises to me is another series of dominant negativity and manufactured conflict by trying to get both sides at each other's throats. After all this is a theme inspired by CBB15, FFS. If we thought Hopkins vs. Hilton was bad - I've a feeling this will be even worse.

Anyway I'll still watch, I could be wrong and it turns out to be great. The rumours are looking good for a summer CBB - god knows why they don't save them for January (but that's another subject of its own)

The good thing about CBB15 is the theme wasn't that big, it was in the background a lot of the time, unlike normal BB themes.

Perched for the obligatory secret room (which they've run out of names for - it's been used that much)

So this surely means we'll get a new eye and new opening titles?

If it's a different theme, then yes.

Unpopular opinion, but I kind of wish they stuck with the Timebomb theme for CBB. I would've loved to see past CBB contestants.

I found the BB16 eye got really stale like the BB14 eye quickly.

I don't get why they didn't just have normal launch/finale dates for BB though, they didn't really need a month+ break. It could have just been 2/3 weeks.

I'm bored of waiting. And lets face it, anything longer than 2-3 days after BB, like they've done in the last 3 years is a treat. Even a week would've been fine. I hope it launches next week, though - so they get things wrapped up by the first week of September.

They'll probably name it the White House, or something, and have it all White - similar to the White Room, but an actual house.

The Launch Night twist will obviously be something to do with splitting the house into two teams, UK and USA.

Unpopular opinion, but I would've loved to see a CBB: Timebomb. I think it would've been cool seeing ex-CBB housemates, again.

Just better produced than BB16, ofc.

Actually kind of gutted about this tbh. All this means is that it'll be another series with twist after twist and manufactured drama. Plus, I kind of liked the fact that the summer CBB had a similar eye/house to the civilian series, considering that they don't do this in the winter anymore. Still, let's hope they can prove me wrong and make a decent series.

They better have CBB15 level of promo, that's the only way I can justify the ridiculously late launch date.

I don't think they will, TBH. Probably just a teaser with Marcus screaming "CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER IS BACK! THURSDAY 9PM ON 5!"

Wouldn't that mean CBB will end in late September - which gives just over 3 months break for the January CBB, in 2016? :facepalm:
