empire 22-08-2015 10:21 PM

the hawker hunter, has a very bad safety record, even from its early years, when pilots fired their guns their engines would flameout, it has very poor visibility, in bad weather,

Will. 22-08-2015 10:35 PM

The Daily Mirror front page is of an incredible photo a father took of the incident, looks crazy.

RIP all :(

...yeah, this sort of thing really does make you realise how in the blink of an eye...

...I've travelled on that road so many times myself, so many families whose worlds have just been broken, just awful...and too, too many lives lost in these air displays...

kirklancaster 23-08-2015 08:34 AM

Utter tragedy. RIP to the 7 victims and my heart goes out to their families.

I understand the scene is morbid, but this is an incredibly amazing photo.

Yes the Mirror bought it fast
to have the Best photo.

Yes rare to see it like that
as those people are standing on the right
just watching the Air Show
from that angle.
So close to the few seconds of impact

The Police say they think the Dead will rise to 20.

They should have moved faster yesterday
as the Rain is heavy today

Oh dear! That's awful. Black smoke as well! It really puts things into perspective. This is why I hate airshows - people try to show off and end up losing control of the plane.

RIP to the people who were hit.

Stupid man! :fist:

arista 26-08-2015 06:46 AM

"try to show off and end up losing control of the plane."

He may of had a black out,
then found he was to late to keep control.

But the only way now
is to have all future air shows over water.
One Good example is Bournemouth
all planes fly over the sea to do Stunts etc.

He killed all those people because he did a barrel roll which wasn't supposed to be part of the stunt, so yeah, he was trying to show off by not sticking to the plan, and that's what ticked me.

Airshow Victims' Remains May Never Be Found

[the case, and that is one of the
reasons why we are so meticulous
and so thorough in our gathering
of the evidence, because we want
to help the families understand
as much as they can what
happened to their loved ones."]

So much intense Heat when it hit the ground
and blew up.

Get the Road repaired
and open it.
This is crazy

lostalex 29-08-2015 03:57 AM

horribly tragic, but at least he died doing what he loved and trying to make people happy.

that being said, i have no desire to go to an air show or a monster truck rally ever in my life.

Another Air Show
on the Sea went on.
But flying any stunts over the Sea
has got to be the only way
