Do you notice your own accent?
 

I didn't even know I had an accent until I moved to Devon and all of my friends picked me up on it. Whenever I name accents I just don't think of mine as one because it's just so normal to me.

Sometimes I do if I'm around people with different accents

Not really cause I have a really weak scottish accent and when I'm around other people I kinda notice there accents more i suppose

No but quiet a few people tell me I'm quiet broad

I don't think I really have one I'm just told I sound a bit posh. But then for being a devon boy I don't really know anyone that sounds like the wurzels or anything.

Yeah. South Devon accents are quite bland and almost bordering on posh. I live nearer the West and I can really notice the accents here. And once you get further (Bristol etc) you really get them Josie vibes.

Even being around other people i still don't notice my own accent. i'm told i have a strong irish one though

Not my accent particularly, but I catch myself saying certain phrases and it makes me think 'am I that Welsh?!'

not really, i notice how i say different words sometimes though and i get stopped in my tracks. like sometimes i talk really laddy i guess and i notice it lmao

yeah I do because my accent consists of like 30 different accents. I think I sound really yorkshire cause i say the phrases and shorten things down like 'whatevs', because I'm a dick. but my numbers and letters are pronounced in an american accent and when I'm angry, i turn really posh and use big words... its so strange. but then again, im not exactly normal

Yeah I notice it but I like my accent

i never notice my accent but when i've spoken to people on the phone for the first time or whatever they always say "omg you sound so essex-y!!!!"

I think the generic american accent is what i have, so i really don't have an accent, i just say words the way they are usually said... so no/ i don't have an accent.
