Cash or Card?

Do you make payments by cash or card?

Benjamin 14-09-2015 10:19 PM

card

Daniel. 14-09-2015 10:19 PM

Depends sis

Jordan. 14-09-2015 10:19 PM

Card I rarely ever carry cash

Calderyon 14-09-2015 10:21 PM

Before debit, i paid with cash.

Nowadays, just card. Usually.

Black Dagger 14-09-2015 10:22 PM

I prefer cash. Just because card payments take longer transaction wise.

such a busy life

Black Dagger 14-09-2015 10:23 PM

I don't like card payments taking a couple of days to leave my account that's all.

LukeB 14-09-2015 10:23 PM

Card

Jason. 14-09-2015 10:24 PM

Both.

I use card in well-known places like the supermarket or when shopping for clothes at clothes stores. But when I shop at those shady looking places, I use cash

I also use cash in restaurants and things like that.

Liam- 14-09-2015 10:26 PM

Card, I hate carrying cash around

Yeah, that really gets my goat

MTVN 14-09-2015 10:33 PM

Cash if I can, annoys me these days how everyone pays for everything on their bloody card even if it only costs a few quid

Jay. 14-09-2015 10:35 PM

I'm the same. I usually use card when I purchase something which costs more than £35-50. Like if I went to Tesco and brought like 3 items for like £4 or something, I would pay with cash. It annoys me when I see people paying with card just for a pack of donuts or a pint of milk or something.

Firewire 14-09-2015 10:40 PM

Normally card if it's a place that has a chip and pin. Cash for restaurants or corner shops though.

Calderyon 14-09-2015 10:50 PM

Adding to:

Always pay with card, even the smallest purchases. For vending machines, i use coins.

Jay. 14-09-2015 10:55 PM

how do you do contactless tbh?

i got a new card last month and it says nothing about contactless like is lloyds just in the past or s/t like what

you put your card on the screen instead of inserting it inside the slot..it does it without the pin.. so people can use your card if you lose it.

armand.kay 14-09-2015 10:57 PM

but once I pressed the wrong side of my wallet onto the oyster thing on the bus and it snatched cash from my bank.

Firewire 14-09-2015 10:58 PM

It should have a symbol on it that looks the the wifi one. Only some chip and pin machines accept them. You just wave it over the screen.

LukeB 14-09-2015 10:59 PM

cards should not be contactless tbh

People can still use a regular card online and stuff you just call you bank the minute you realise its lost and all's good in t'hood.

Brother Leon 14-09-2015 11:00 PM

Depends on the size of the transaction.

MTVN 14-09-2015 11:03 PM
