Woman gets suspended for burning boyfriend's penis with hair straightener!

Bronwyn Joy Parker burnt her boyfriend's penis with a hair straightener

The victim was being punished for cheating on her with his ex-girlfriend

He received three degree burns after the incident took place

Ms Parker received a suspended jail sentence after pleading guilty

'It just looked as if you had cooked a piece of meat'

'In short, his penis will be scarred for life and he will suffer from a number of issues, including the proper function of his penis, not to mention the cosmetic and psychological problems associated with the scarring to such a sensitive site,' Judge Muscat said.

:umm2:

Highly disturbing.

And I don't think the sentence should be suspended either.

Crimson Dynamo 15-09-2015 08:59 PM

Get a shot for the pain but keep the swelling

Cami-Li?

smudgie 15-09-2015 10:49 PM

Something to remember her by then.

Ouch!!

Lostie! 15-09-2015 10:50 PM

I have to wonder if the sentence would be suspended (or if people would be cracking jokes or saying it was deserved) if it had been a guy violently assaulting his girlfriend for cheating.

Don't get me wrong, I loathe cheaters, but breaking up with them is the rational response.

armand.kay 15-09-2015 10:50 PM

me?

Jack_ 15-09-2015 10:53 PM

Yeah I was going to beat the truth to it and I say I don't think many of the reactions in here would have been the same with a female victim, but Lostie already did

Very true!Would it be so acceptable if she'd cheated and he'd stuck a hot iron on her minge?

I hope you're not referring to me, as I would say the same about anyone.

i hate everyone equally

Liam- 15-09-2015 11:31 PM

The sex on fire reference would have been used for a vagina person as well don't worry

I was referring to everyone making a joke of the situation, no one specifically

I am all for jokes, hell I'm sure most on here know I think there should be no boundaries when it comes to comedy, but it has to be consistent. There may be some who'd make a joke no matter who the person (myself included), I'm not trying to determine who would and who wouldn't, just pointing out that for the most part there would not be as many people making light of this had the victim been female.

You weren't the first to make a joke in the thread and I'd have quoted you if so, it was more of a general thing. I just think it's interesting how attitudes to making jokes about serious issues fluctuate depending on the subject matter and the subjects themselves

Like I said, I'm all for comedy, but it has be fair, equal and consistent. Some things or people seem to be off limits at times and I don't agree with that

I totally and completely agree. So many people these days pick and choose what is offensive and what isn't. It's wrong. Either have a sense of humour or don't.

Offence is taken, not given as the saying goes

As long as a comment is clearly a joke I don't think there's any boundaries when it comes to comedy. It should just be balanced, that's all

Exactly. I agree. I just hate when people pick and chose things, depending on what a person is. it's not right. It does more damage for equality than good.

scar tissue is really horrible on the penis, because unlike the rest of the body, that skin really needs to stretch, and scar tissue is not very elastic, so it can cause real pain and problems for a man on that area.

That being said, don't cheat on women, and if you are dgoing to cheat, don't sleep naked. wear pajamas!

I don't know if he deserved it or not, but if you betray your partner, you probably should take some precautions.

I guess this is similar to the loreanna/john bobbit case. I think it's okay to have sympathy for both parties.
