BIG BROTHER is supporting racism and turning a blind eye to it. I cannot believe such ignorants and channel4 is probably encouraging the act.

Shilpa is reportedly denied it not racism simply out of sympathy because she is being watched and BIG BROTHER a snake.

I don't believe BB supports racism, I believe they are taking the opportunity to highlight the issues. From what I've seen on the news coverage around the world today I think it's working.

Of course she denied it because she doesn't have an aerial view of the whole situation. I think there must have been a secret push to get Shilpa confession to avoid legal action.

Regardless of what been said, the three made offensive remarks about her culture habits and other cultures and that in itself is racist either directly or indirectly applied.

C4 are sly. They called in Shilpa after she said "it is racist" but when they called her in, they didn't make it all clear to her. She thought they were asking her about the argument with Jade which started from oxo cubes. So if you are fighting about oxo cubes, thats hardly going to give reason for Shilpa to say "Big brother, jade &co used all my oxo cubes, I think thats very racist".

They need to tell her all that Jackiey, Jade, Jack, Danielle and Jo have said about her and then let her form an opinion. And then she will say it is racism.

Sorry to have to disagree, but I feel you are insulting the intelligence of a very articulate woman. She knew what Big Brother was talking about from what I saw.

No actually I am not. She picked up on that they picked up on her conversation with Cleo when she said "it is, it is racist".
Did they tell her that Danielle said for her to "****** off home?" coz that was insulting that they didn't tell her the full picture and got a statement of "no, theres no racism going on here".

yes and if jade get evicted then ppl in england are not allowed free speech or argue with an member of the asain community without being branded a racist?... shipla hasnt been the angel some ppl claim either, so will her actions be accepatble if jade goes?

Even shilpa's mother has said her daughter has been wrapped in cotton wool and had most things done for her for most of her life and she dosent think its racial within the big bro house and she's been watching the show..so has seen how her daughter has behaved too.

Yeah, that would be GREAT if it actually happened.

But if someone told me that I would feel insulted but I wouldn't take it as racism. The only reason you would take it that way in argument if I was a racist and thought everyone was out to get me and I was in another country at the the time. Shilpa is better than that. She understands what such a comment might mean in the context it was said.

If danielle was being racist she would have said go home to pakistan or india..she merley said go home as in where you live, how is this racist?.... so if i said to my next door neighbour who is black american you going home later im a racist?... all this is getting out of hand and its going to start riots again if its not carefull.

Have you even watched Shilpas' mothers interview? Because if you have, you'd know that Shilpas' mother hasn't seen the show, as its not available in India and they've just had to be content with the news over the internet. So first, get accurate information rather than making it up.

At the em-bolded bit - If you say to your american neighbour " you going home later" then you are asking a damn question, not telling them to go home!
And telling Shilpa to "****** off home" is racist. She is a guest to this country, who has been asked to leave for no just cause. If Shilpa left the BB house, where would she go? Home to India, because she has no home in the UK

But now we are leaving the topic and getting on to the racism debate and that works two ways.

Different cultures have different opinions of each other. Look how Bush virtually thinks every person that follows the islam faith is a terrorist. It's wrong but he does it. He is planning to go to war with Iran. Why because he believes his right. That is racism. America the great and all that. That is racism too. Is Bush right?

There will be culture clashes, yes, but this game is equal to all, and all should be protected too. Whether they are aware of it or not. Endamol are protecting jade for various reasons other than the fact she shares the same agent as Russel, Dermot etc who are also quick to defend Jade yet brush everyone elses comments that are anti-Jade.
