Or are you strict with yourself with what genres you listen to?
I personally am super open minded and like huge amounts of music- I can't ever pick just one genre and I'm constantly finding new artists or falling in love with old ones..
How bout you?

Yep, I don't have a particular genre or specific artists I stick to.

Very, my iTunes is full of pretty much every genre and even a bit of foreign music

I thankfully branched out of just listening to pop girls

yes but I do hate the majority of boy bands tbh

..yeah, I'm a little bit country and a little bit rock n roll, a little bit of Memphis and Nashville..and a little bit of Motown in my soul...

I do tend to have a bias towards alternative sounds like Rock, Indie, Folk, Reggae, Hip-Hop etc, but if there's a good Pop singer out there then I will support them.

Classical, Reggae, Ska, Rock, Pop, Country, Soul - I love all what's good and always have.

I am but songs music with good lyrics wins most of the time for me.
However I cannot really take rap, I like some of it but its one that I wouldn't buy much of.

Maybe when i was like 16 i was more narrow minded but at this stage i can pretty much find at least one artist i like in most genres

Based on the number of arguments on who stans who and which past artists are trash compared to current ones... the people of this forum are a lot more closed minded than they want to admit .

I can listen to any type of music, but I keep to one genre when it comes to general listening. I don't like having multiple genres in my playlists.

Yeah but I go through phases of listening to the same genre then go to another etc depending on where my mood takes me

Yes but I just so happen to prefer pop music. A lot of people decide to hold that against you like there's something wrong with it but if you just happen to prefer pop music then that's that. If you like other things outside of pop music, good for you.
