this year I'm going to expand that tradition and make up a gift bag for us all with new PJs, fluffy socks, hot chocolate, marshmellows and a Christmas mug

We don't really have any Christmas traditions, we just do the normal things, but we do have a tradition of all getting together in between Christmas and New Year because the family is all split up on the day, we get together and have a big family evening so we can celebrate together.

Niamh. 02-12-2015 04:04 PM

Oh and when we get up early Christmas morning, we light the fire straight away

My sister did this for my niece last year, She used an old shoe box and filled it with treats and she loved it.

I'm happy that i'm in the same place for most of the day and then i only have to walk for 5 minutes to my sisters for the evening. I couldn't be doing with travelling for all that time on christmas day

Niamh. 02-12-2015 05:16 PM

We don't budge from the house at all, that was a tradition we made up after a few years of driving all over the place and never getting to relax properly. Now the rule is anyone is welcome but we don't move :hee:
