but what a terrible duet why the hell did XF team Leona with Ben of all people :bored: their voices don't match

James Arthur could sing, there's a difference between having a bad personality and disliking his Music to then call him a bad vocalist.

Fleur didn't mime though - you could clearly hear her singing over the backing vocals

There's one part of the song where her voice comes in and Fleur doesn't even have the mic to her mouth, don't you think that's even slightly odd?:laugh:

Ben may have had an exceptionally off day, but nobody will ever sound as bad as this and I dare them too even try.

I am so happy Fleur got to show her amazing live vocals to the entire nation with Britain's best girl group performing a mash up with her :party:

It's Leona who I feel sorry for... she's been out of the limelight for a while and this was her chance to get back in the public eye again and Ben ruined it for her :bored:

Simon humiliated both just as he wanted, I don't get why Leona agreed to it as she had to hold her voice back too much, and Ben was never gonna keep up with her and Simon knew that.

I never liked Ben on TXF but I do feel kinda bad for him, especially with that girl laughing in that Youtube video in a really spiteful manner that he failed to hit the note, who takes so much pleasure in that when it can kill his reputation and career? You don't have to like somebody's Music to feel empathy for someone when that happens.

Also my Mom seems gutted about how his performance has gone down which has probably made me feel bad as well.

I agree with Mock about James Arthur. It's clear that he's a massive twat but there's no denying he has a great voice. He was easily the best of his year in terms of vocals, maybe Ella Henderson coming close

I'm a huge Little Mix fan, probably the most vocal on here but they didn't 'destroy' Fleur at all, she and LM were amazing together and sang in harmony really well.

I disagree, I thought his voice was incredibly grunty, I personally don't think straining for a constipated poo is singing, but each to their own.

I don't like Ben, I just dislike the way Simon and some Fleur fans are ripping him apart despite actually singing live unlike their favourite where Simon gives her everything including miming and her fans say nothing, even 1D sang live tonight and they're awful vocalists even on a good day so why couldn't Fleur sing live?

If anything after this weekend it validated me on my support for Lauren, Jack, OTY, and Andrea in their year as they never sounded like Ben did, and didn't mime like Fleur did.

This is why I never get winners on this show, they actually sing well live.
