Of course not...but we can certainly speculate. :)

For my part, I believe that someone who can't stop talking about how something doesn't bother him at all...is very, very bothered by it.

If you say so.

If he did want to present himself as alpha male of the house, he will have got a message from the crowd that to them at least, it hadn't worked.
So if he stays on Tuesday he will feel liberated in that he no longer needs to try to present himself as that with that knowledge.

If he wasn't trying to be alpha male, he still has had the message from the crowd that whatever he is doing so far has not endeared him to them.
So again he can now feel free to go down another route as to being in the house.

So either way,if he stays he is liberated and the more he can repair the damage with Darren the better for him.
So hopefully he stays.

You know, in the last general BB series, a certain James nominated his best friend in the house,Austin, for supposedly good reasons, looking out for him.
That got sorted, and then what happened, James went on to win with Austin runner up.

That is so true Joey and they are still friends now.

He's an alhpe and thus has problems accepting he isnt liked/is wrong on anything/the public like someone else more. He acted like getting booed was a confirmation when in fact it only confirmed that his game plan is not working. Typical Alpha. Even when he's wrong he still thinks hes right.

Braden 16-01-2016 10:57 PM

I do believe him tbh. On launch night he said that he may come out of the show hated, he's pretty self-aware of how he may come across on the show.

He probably loved the booing as it proved he was getting the air-time that is constantly on his mind.

Amy Jade 16-01-2016 10:57 PM

He was crying inside :hee:

They are indeed, they are hilarious together when on bbbots.

Darren too is still in the house talking to John, I think the more the others go on about it the more viewers will think they, not John, are the ones now bringing Darren down by keep highlighting that nomination.

smudgie 16-01-2016 11:01 PM

I really don't know, but I would go with him not being happy if I am pushed.
What I am pleased about is he now knows the house dynamics, and the fact that the public are no fools. Hopefully he will play Gemma at her own game and she will walk.

:joker: WHAT???? Are we talking about John being nominated? When did the thread change to that?

jet 16-01-2016 11:08 PM

I think John is quite a proud person, so I'd say his pride is hurt and his pride won't let him admit he is hurt. I think though that he is made of strong stuff and he will find a way back from this.

Maybe he isn't bothered too much by the boos and maybe he's not to bothered about being nominated it's all happening around John, that house would not have been the same without him, like him or loathe him he is bringing something to the table as much as it hurts some people to admit that.

He's bringing plenty to the house but he's still a prick. Not sure who you are referring to when you say 'It hurts some'?

You are all missing the point. |john isn't stuid, he knows BB inside out and he also knows that villians get kept in for their entertainment value. Now he has forged his way into the Speidi and Perez type of territory, he has guaranteed himself a place in the finals. That gives him breathing space and once he sees his adversaries go out one by one, he will pull off the nice guy act in the last week.

Trust me, this guy is one of the best game players ever to enter the house and his plan isn't off track yet.

In saying all that I still don't like him.

Of course we do. He felt liberated by the chanting crowd in the same way a constipated man is liberated by a triple dose of castor oil, because both are full of shet which HAS to be let loose sooner or later.

Ammi 17-01-2016 06:58 AM

...no I don't think he did mean it, I think he would have been shocked and devastated/completely gutted... but there was nothing really else he could say though, in the face of that sort of booing 'hate'....I think most other housemates would have had a similar thing, it's a defensive thing, isn't it...

Beso 17-01-2016 06:58 AM

the only person he was trying to convince was himself. pinching darrens quote like that, slimey.

Ammi 17-01-2016 06:59 AM

..actually he probably does feel a bit 'liberated' now though, in knowing what the public think of him, he probably does just want to get out of the house as soon as possible now....will he walk, does anyone think...?...

 - :nono: Now Kaz - pricks which hurt people are NOT really useful, because they need cutting down to size.

(Or so I've been told by all those I've made love to :smug:)

Ah but Kirk,i don't think John is a prick, everyone who knows him and worked with him have said how lovely he is, I would take their word over anyone who has never even met him.

bots 17-01-2016 08:09 AM

In the general scheme of things what has John really done wrong. He has held an opinion and vocalised it ... big deal. Compared to some of the others he is a saint and with his current odds to win as they currently stand, I think he is worth a bet at this stage.
