I want VTS. VTE absolutely killed BB16, meaning that all the bores got to the final. Can't see it happening though :(

Both have their faults tbh. But I'd much rather VTS but it won't be obviously.

VTS if they must have loads of people nominated, otherwise the bores always stay. VTE if they reverted back to just 2 nominees.

4in4out should have had VTS, at the very least.

VTE, far more satisfying since it doesn't reward dickishness as much as VTS does. And it's the format I associate with BB considering that was the way on C4.

But VTE rewards dullness as BB16 beautifully demonstrated! And tbf, people won't vote for horrible people in a VTS.

VTE gets people like Marc evicted so VTE > VTS

I like VTE, it seems to stop the programme from being dominated by just one or two characters which be comes boring, more often than not they are one dimensional characters with only one or two ways of acting. Other house mates get the chance to be seen. It was also part of the original format, which would like to see more off.

what would the other options be for BB16?

If they didn't do the stupid safe housemates are nominated and if it was VTS during 4in4out (four evictees in one night is still cringeworthy), the nominees would have been Eileen/Jade/Cristian/Nick/Joel/Jack. This would have resulted in Jade surviving bc she brought the dramz and either Eileen or one of the guys staying, resulting in 3 (or 4) dullards going.

What do you mean? Harry, Sam, Marc, Simon, Eileen and Jade would have made the best finalists and they all, apart from Sam and perhaps Eileen went as a result of VTE.

Both have their pros/cons, so I'd like both to be offered tbh.

Sam, Marc, and Simon were all awful, boring, and overrated and a VTE culling them as soon as they were up (or producers meddling like they do best for Chloe to stay in Sam's case) was brilliant.

VTE for BB. VTS for CBB. The way it is now is perfect.

I think Harry could have beaten Jack the week she was evicted, and Simon was up in a week with eight people, many of which were bores.

You're saying that you think Sam's eviction was ok just because you didn't like her? And you're saying that Nick, Danny and Cristian were good finalists? :omgno:

Well given it's the only time the producers did something right in a mess of a series that is a BB16, then yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. But no at Nick, Danny, and Cristian being good finalists. They were awful and bland.

But it was so grossly unfair regardless of who you like, so I don't understand

It was but #4in4out was even more unfair tbh.

Plus Sam would've finished 6th place 6 days later, so she was no big loss really. Whereas Chloe went to win the series

I mean the twist is unfair, but it saved Chloe from eviction and secured her winning over 5 trashy males so I'm glad

I personally think Danielle being evicted without a public vote by two irrelevant housemates who'd only been in for 4 days a year earlier was more unfair than Sam's Cashbomb eviction thingymaflop

I think they were both as bad as each other - the principle is the same. Same with Marlon.

In the final tally a housemates save votes are subtracted from their evict votes.Big Brother Australia have done this successfully before.

Danielle's is the most unfair eviction of all time, especially considering two non entities culled her.

Marlon would've been nominated and out that week had it been a normal eviction with a VTE public vote. Him pressing the button cost him I think. So again, the only difference his none public vote eviction made was him leaving 4 days earlier

This is all speculation though. I think no one should go without a public vote under any circumstances.

They do all the time. This is why someone like Katie Hopkins can get so close to winning.

This would be a very interesting system. But I reckon it would be hard to get the scum out. Someone like Marc would get the most evict votes, but he also gets the save votes, which makes his votes neutral.

Katie Hopkins was well-liked, hence why she came so close to winning. That sounds fair enough to me.
