Stupid and Dumb things BB have done

name them :spin:

- Final Pass ... It's not about who it went to, it's just not part of the show or the experience.

Dollface 28-01-2016 10:13 PM

Putting "Legends" in - They had their time in their own series' so there really wasn't any need to put them back in, it was a pathetic attempt at gaining viewers

Jack_ 28-01-2016 10:14 PM

lbr the final pass is one of the best things on C5 BB

Anyway, 4in4out and the quad eviction are without a doubt the two dumbest, most illogical, series ****ing ruining decisions they - and probably any other production team in the history of reality television - have ever made.

Would you say this if it didn't go to Helen? ;)

Yes because it's not part of the show

My fav during that series was Ashleigh and even if she got the pass to the final I would've found it unfair.

Jack_ 28-01-2016 10:22 PM

Hm well I still think people's perception of the final pass is only negative due to Helen (though, having said that, the only reason I liked it was cause she got it - we should count ourself very lucky), but even if I look at it objectively...it wasn't anywhere near the worst decision they've ever made. Cause let's face it, had it gone to a bore, as crap as it would've been said bore would have probably made the final regardless, so...at least the way it turned out someone who deserved to make the final did

Amy Jade 28-01-2016 10:23 PM

4 in 4 out was a huge mistake. Sarah, Amy and Sally and Harriet could have been AMAZING but instead we got Marc - One of the worst C5 housemates ever.

I also hated how BB twisted it so the safe housemates were the ones up...that never made sense to me.

Oh gosh I forgot about 4 in 4 out, that was the dumbest thing they've ever done I think.

Marsh. 28-01-2016 10:25 PM

When they sold the show to channel 5.

Amy Jade 28-01-2016 10:26 PM

BB11's quad eviction was a spectacular flop.

Corin deserved to be in the final (imo she should have won fk you Josie Gibson)

Helen didn't deserve to be in the final though, you have to own that by facing eviction, She probs would have went week 1/2 anyway which would have saw the house be less miserable. we could have saw Ashleigh and Danielle more happier, Helen killed the life and soul of the house.

:clap1: this

I could list the amount of stuff that Channel 5 have done wrong all day, but I'd say that the two big ones are dropping Live Feed and not following a consistent format.

Amy Jade 28-01-2016 10:28 PM

Conors prize money - such a crap twist and ultimately it rewarded one of the most revolting housemates ever. He was utterly repugnant so the fact they handed him money on a plate still pains me

Cal. 28-01-2016 10:29 PM

-4 in 4 out
- Taking away Toya's immunity when she was power housemate
- Lots of other things I cba to remember

Whether a housemate warrants a place in the final or not, or indeed their merit as a housemate altogether, is not judged by their ability to survive a public vote at the mercy of people who have no idea what they are doing, but strictly on their objective contribution to the series.

Ashleigh probably wouldn't have been half as good had Helen not existed. Let's not forget she was the unofficial ~series bore~ until she quite righteously had had enough of Hellen <3

I'm actually glad this happened because it gave us a classic Deana moment :flutter:

Jason. 28-01-2016 11:35 PM

BB16.

Denver 28-01-2016 11:45 PM

Ejecting Ken Morley

Jason. 28-01-2016 11:52 PM

Ejecting Aaron. A first and final warning would've sufficed tbh. But then again, they only ejected him for publicity purposes the night before #4IN4OUT because Jeremy and Ken getting ejected in CBB15 brought the headlines and ratings. It's practically the norm now to eject someone for ratings. See Tila Tequila etc.

Jason. 28-01-2016 11:56 PM

Ejecting Tila Tequila for claiming they didn't know about her past before the house

Denver 28-01-2016 11:58 PM

BB7 vote the ex housemates back in.

It allowed Nikki to play up to what viewers had found funny and became very false

Jason. 29-01-2016 12:01 AM

Tbh I would've preferred if they had chosen Lea to re-enter instead of Nikki. I mean the majority of the housemates (Aisleyne, Richard, and Jennie) wanted Lea back but they decided with Nikki just because of Pete  and she was really dull in her last week, with the Pikki storyline, her fake tantrums, her being a bitch to Aisleyne yet again for no reason.

Macie Lightfoot 29-01-2016 12:56 AM

Far be it from me to agree with LukeB on something but I'm soooooo on board with everything he's saying. Helen ruins everything she touches and the final pass really set the stage for a terrible series. She didn't gain any power from a standpoint, but she got a huuuuge amount of power from a social standpoint because she was immediately identified as a permanent fixture in the house, she never had to worry about being nominated (lmfao as if that would change Helen's behavior at all but still), and it just made it that much easier for her gang to form and gain traction within the house. Any contributions she made to BOTH series she was a part of were entirely negative and she has absolutely no redeeming qualities, despite the fact that the show pushes forth an agenda to BE A GOOD HOUSEMATE and we're supposed to love to hate Helen. No, I just ****ing hate her and I wish I could go back to a time where I was unaware of her existence.

Reg_Holdsworth_Fan 29-01-2016 01:35 AM

Mine are:
*Legend Ken being ejected (still pisses me off today)
*The ridiculous free pass to the final and killer nom in BB15
*4 in 4 out
*Cash bomb
*Launch night eviction in BB16
*Armageddon week
*The quad eviction in BB11
*Any other pathetic twist involving the prize fund (splitting 100k in BB12 and the white room in BB13)

Macie Lightfoot 29-01-2016 02:15 AM

true, Ken only said a variant of the n-word #JeSuisKen

reece(: 29-01-2016 05:50 AM

Danielle's eviction </3

Lostie! 29-01-2016 12:29 PM

Final passes (and Hellhound not having her's revoked when she continued to act in an unacceptable manner).
Randomly doing an all up VTS to get Hira out.
4 In, 4 Out.
Any time they tamper with the nomination process (which is essentially constant nowadays).
Not removing Conorrhea after what he said (and then allowing him to win half of the prize fund).

I certainly would. That subhuman getting it only made a crappy idea even worse, but it was crappy regardless.

TomC 29-01-2016 12:32 PM

Well they've ****ed CBB this time round. As far as noms go, CBB is normally very transparent with rules which stand the whole series. This year the rules changed so they could save their favourites. So they've ruined CBB this time, and that's pretty stupid and dumb.

reece(: 29-01-2016 12:40 PM

4 in 4 out was a joke

Babayaro. 30-01-2016 05:31 PM

Tbh, I thought BB13's White Room twist was really good. People only view it in a negative way because of who won the money. If it was any other housemate there wouldn't be nowhere near as much fuss made over it. Obviously Conor walking with 50k was undeserved but the twist itself was a good one

I agree. I think it's the most C4-style twist that's been done on C5.

EspeonBB 30-01-2016 05:48 PM

4 in 4 Out is definitely the worst thing production have ever done. Putting up the housemates who weren't even nominated for eviction and then evicting four of them in an attempt to 'shake things up' :umm2:

Honourable mentions: BB11 quad eviction, all of the BB15 twists
