Thought this might be a fun thread given all the hype that's been circulating lately over "two houses".

My speculation theory is that they will finally do the twin swapping twist. Maybe that's what the "second house" is for? There could be a twin swapping places every few days (like the twist done in BBUS 5 & 17 and BBAUS 5) and the twin not in the main house would live in the second house with evictees or other housemates.

What are all your speculations?

I would be here for the twin swapping thing!

The new eviction set will stop the 'get _ out', 'off' and 'liar' chants

Hopefully they wont allow the mob into the crowd

It's only when the crowd start shouting 'OFF' and ruining the interviews that it gets annoying.

get out chants are awful and ruin the predictability for the HM's imo

My prediction is that either the launch night twist is that the housemates have to split themselves into two and live in separate houses for the majority of the series OR new housemates are coming in later on and living in the separate house OR evicted housemates are moving into the seperate house.

Maybe the second house is a Legend House thus Nikki comes back again?

It'd be cool if we get like 10 housemates in each house on launch night and they are unaware of each other's existence and 2 people are evicted each week - one from each house.

I still havent figured out how the 2 houses are but maybe they will do BBAU10 halfway house?

The get _ out chants used to be good but now the crowd overuses it and it loses its impact. They had more impact before because they were rare so when the crowd chanted your name you knew you were really hated. Now they chant even the mildly disliked housemates

I want the points format as well, it was great on BBAU as long the nom rules are really strict

There's 20 housemates all together, but they're in pairs of family members like two brothers, two twins, father and son, daughter and mother they walk out together but one from each pairs gets put into one of the two houses

That is a really interesting idea actually.

Possibly too complex for the british public.

Normal nominations should be every week. Max one nomination twist.

And if they do a fake eviction make it Gina/Dexter and not Farrah/Jenna fake fake BS. austin/bobby would have gone with regular fake noms ugh

And they should merge the houses in like week 7 when there's barely anyone in each house and open up a poll on which house people want to make immune. Let's say it's house 1 - so then house 2 are put up for eviction. Then tell house 2 that the final is on that Friday night - then the housemate with the least amount of votes to evict is told they've finished in 5th/4th place (how many is left in) and they go to the enclosed stairs to exit but are instead directed to house 1. Rinse and repeat until there's just 2 remaining in house 2 - the top 2 amount of votes to evict and then explain EVERYTHING and the person with the most votes to evict is evicted whilst the other moves into the other house as well. :clap1:

But they would know there were two houses and would be able to hear each other from the first night :worry:

Do the plans definetly show that there'll be two separate houses? I can't really understand the plans, but do they without a doubt indicate there will be two different houses?

Could we maybe have a battle of the sexes theme maybe?
10 males in one house and 10 females in the other house. They both know about each other but the only time they meet is when they are competeing to win the tasks. The winning side then get to pick one of the other team to come to their side and in the end the all housemates will be living in one house?

Is the new house adjacent? From somewhere I got the impression it's a whole new bigger house? And that we can see the old house for reference, and the new house is mapped out over it?

I imagine what would be more likely is some sort of coaches/All Stars kind of twist because knowing the producers they'll have thought Timebomb went down a treat

To expand on Sam's idea (cos I love it).

The public know there will be 2 houses, and on launch night Emma tells us 20 housemates will enter but they will all enter in pairs of friends, partners etc.

She then tells us that the HMs in each pair will be sent to different houses. So we see one VT for each pair, and then they meet Emma and then go up different staircases.

So there are two houses of 10. The first week will have no eviction, and the public will be voting for two pairs they want to reunite. So on the first live show, there will just be a swap to change the dynamics a bit.

In Week 2, the houses nominate separately for the first time, and the person in each house with the most nominations faces eviction with their partner from the other house.

So, each week there are two pairs facing eviction in a VTS, and the pair with the fewest votes are evicted and reunited.

After 4 or 5 weeks, the divide ends, and the twist is over, leaving the dynamics to develoop naturally for the remaining weeks.

So, the series plan would be:

Week 1: 20 HMs
Week 2: 20
Week 3: 18
Week 4: 16
Week 5: 14
Week 6: 12 (no more house divide)
Week 7: 11
Week 8: 10
Week 9: 8
Week 10: 6

Sounds good Tom but I'll find it interesting if one pair leaves and see how the other pair would react.

Well so far we've speculated Redemption Island and Blood vs. Water, I'm sure there are plenty of other Survivor twists they can re-hash several years too late

I mentally replaced "pair" with "half of a respective pair"?
