That's unlikely to happen now, as Caroline Aherne is currently fighting lung cancer.

The BBC have just brought back the comedy playhouse which is sort of a showcase for one off pilot shows, in the past it's spawned legendary sitcoms such as, Steptoe and Son, Till Death us do part, Are you being served? and Last of the summer wine.

One of the episodes is called 'Broken Biscuits', it's written by Craig Cash (Aherne's writing partner on Royle Family), and Phil Mealey, who wrote 'Early Doors' with Cash.

I think it has potential to be made into a series, it's worth a watch.
