He'll be fine as long as long as he looks for those bare necessities. He'll be the king of the swingers in no time.

Japan is Hard on kids

Now they will search at first light
which is soon

Drew. 30-05-2016 09:27 PM

Parents will be using this to threaten their kids with when they're being little ****s in the future. Long gone are the days of the naughty step, it's all about feeding them to wild animals these days

Japan may be hard on kids in terms of education etc but it isn't this hard... These two were just borderline idiotic..

Mystic Mock 01-06-2016 09:37 PM

Poor kid.

I bet the wild Animals will take better care of him than the parents did.:joker:

Niamh. 02-06-2016 09:08 AM

Him to return in 20 years as Tarzan?

Ammi 03-06-2016 05:50 AM

...so good that he's ok(ish)..as Jonni said though, the emotional damage will be very far-reaching through his life, poor little guy...

VanessaFeltz. 03-06-2016 06:29 AM

“The first thing I said to him was that I was really sorry. He nodded and said OK, like he understood.” - Bitch you probably emotionally abused him to the point he can say anything.

Tanooka, 44, then apologised to his son’s school, the search teams and everyone who had supported the family through the weeklong search. - Japanese schools another place where they abuse kids

Ammi 03-06-2016 06:50 AM

..apparently the child had been throwing rocks at cars and people...(an extremely dangerous thing to be doing..)...way to teach him about endangering people by abandoning him in a bear inhabited area.../huge thought went into that 'punishment'...

Kid is hardcore. Give it 20 years and we've got the new, improved, more Japanese, Bear Grylls here. 6 days in the forest with no food, aged 7, and he's like "whatevz guys someone make me a sandwich".

Absolutely.
It is good to hear he is safe, however I hope many questions are asked of these Parents.

yes, in Japan

user104658 03-06-2016 08:18 AM

What I'm wondering now is... if someone went missing in a forest, and you knew there was a building within walkable radius... isn't that one of the FIRST places you would look if they weren't found in the immediate area of where they went missing?

Apparently they're too safe though, I'm thinking South American tropics are probably the best bet.

Great news to hear he was found safe, i really didn't think he would be

Amy Jade 03-06-2016 10:00 AM

Glad he was found but have they just allowed him back to his parents?

he's probably traumatised by the whole thing, not putting him back with his parents would probably be worse for him right now

Ammi 03-06-2016 10:10 AM

..yeah I agree, I think that him not going back to his parents now, would be the worst thing for him...however grim what they did may have been..and however strange it may sound, they're his comfort/safety and security..which is what he needs right now more than ever...with a close support as well for the whole family from social services...

Ammi 03-06-2016 10:17 AM

..on a positive..imagine being able to tick off your life experiences list... 'survival for a week in a bear inhabited forest'..at the age of 7yrs old.../amazing little guy.....

Kizzy 03-06-2016 11:51 PM

What a cutie he is, I'll have him :) If he does go back to his parents and I suspect he will as I don't think they will dare punish him again, he'll get unlimited ice cream haha!
Son, you've been naughty again.. yes but dad you abandoned me in a bear forest.... have another ice cream son!

Yes
I was the same
if only they told us of these Army Cabins
with a running tap water,
he stayed in for the week.

He is just 7
I think he was "right to leave the road"
in case someone bad picked him up

Yes, if he knew they were coming back he should have stayed where he was but obviously when they drove off, he thought they really had left so he left too. I also suspect they left him for quite a bit longer than they claim to have left him before going back, not just a few minutes. If it was minutes he'd still have been able to hear them shouting for him.
