8 people can join. First come first serve. If we get 16 people before the start then we can either do a bigger 16 person draft or two separate 8 person drafts. I'll figure it out if that happens. As of right now it's 8 to join.

Basically you'll choose your team of 2 in a draft format. Out of the 8 people, an order to pick houseguests will be randomly drawn (I'll get the order from a random number generator).

The picks will go: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

The 2 that you pick will be your BBUS18 players. You'll get points each week based on their comp wins & survival.

At the end of the season, the winner will be the person that has the most total points between their 2 choices.

Post here ASAP if you want to join. If you do join, keep checking back as often as you can when the draft begins (some time shortly after the cast reveal). If you take over 24 hours to make your pick, you will end up being skipped (but can still make your pick as soon as you can; the people after you will just have the opportunity to pick before you).

I'll start the signing up process early so that there's more time to see how many people are interested before the cast reveal.

Point system:

- Win BBUS18: +10 points
- Runner-up: +5 points
- Win HOH: +5 points (part 1 & 2 in final HOH count for +3 each)
- Win Return Competition/Return Vote: +5 points
- Win Veto: +3 points
- Win any kind of special veto/special power/twist victory: +3 points
- Win Have-Not / Luxury / Special Money Giveaway Competition: +1 point (these only count if they're separate from HOH/POV competitions + shown on TV)
- Survive an eviction: +2 points for each houseguest
- Get Nominated: -1 point
- Get Evicted: -1 point

Points add on to each other, so for example:

getting nominated but surviving the eviction = -1 + 2 = +1
getting nominated & evicted = -1 - 1 = -2
nominated, veto winner & survival = -1 + 3 + 2 = +4

As in 2 separate drafts? I'm leaning towards doing one big draft with 16 people this time and then I will include 2 of each person as available choices. Less complicated than having 2 drafts at once and kinda bigger stakes being one huge draft. Depends on what everyone thinks though. We could do two separate drafts of 8.

Say there's a 16 person cast (should be... if there's more or less then some changes will have to be made)... There would be 2 of each houseguest so 32 total choices to pick from. Obviously you can't pick the same person twice and also I would keep the rule that you can't pick the same exact 2 people as someone else did.

For the record I'll add 8 "Returning Houseguest" choices (since there's two of each cast member in this draft so it'll be 4 returnees x 2 as well). If they are coaches then they will automatically get +2 each week they survive. Assuming the coaches eventually enter the game, they will get a twist bonus at that point and then also be eligible for competition points and all that.

The way the draft will work is the first person who picks "Returning Houseguest" will get first choice after the returning houseguests are officially revealed. Second will get second choice, and so on.

And now we're ready to begin our draft. Each person has 12 hours to make their pick when it's their turn. If you miss your turn you can still come in later at any time to redeem your pick.

There should be 4 returning houseguests this season and while there are rumors of who those are, I don't think any are confirmed at all. Therefore, if you choose "Returning Houseguest" that means you will make that pick after the returnees are officially revealed (probably on the premiere). It'll probably be another 12-hour time limit per pick.
