Do you think Hughie overreacted?

Poll incoming

Pete. 12-06-2016 08:54 PM

Yes on both occasions

Jordan. 12-06-2016 08:55 PM

No, she said she hated him and they all laughed yet when he retaliated he got abuse for it

Josy 12-06-2016 08:57 PM

No, he was retaliating to her constant nastiness about him he seems to be struggling in the others house and her picking at him is escalating it imo

Black Dagger 12-06-2016 08:57 PM

No. They goaded him and he reacted, maybe a bit loudly but he had reason to be angry.

Jack Torrance 12-06-2016 08:58 PM

I was all acted, so i don't even bother to vote.

Oaker 12-06-2016 08:58 PM

No

DrunkerThanMoses 12-06-2016 08:58 PM

Nope, she has been a utter bitch to him the last 2 days, she thought he was a push over, I am glad he proved her wrong and stood up to her.

Headie 12-06-2016 08:59 PM

His feelings may have been justifiable but I don't think his reaction was

He was criticising Natalie for not keeping calm before yet he didn't practice what he preached :suspect:

Marsh. 12-06-2016 08:59 PM

He's proven he's a pushover though.

Reacting like that is giving her what she wants. She goads him to explode and he's too unintelligent to see it.

Amy Jade 12-06-2016 08:59 PM

Yes. He was gunning for a row with her and he was the first one to get personal.

andybigbro 12-06-2016 08:59 PM

No, Natalie is vile and I would have reacted the same tbh.

She really needs to grow the hell up. They way she argues is so pathetic :joker:

She seems to think she is so bad ass :joker:

I must have missed him getting personal before she said she hated him

Clootie Dumpling 12-06-2016 09:01 PM

Yes, he keeps overreacting - he's got no self-control and could be dangerous.

lewis111 12-06-2016 09:01 PM

Yea and it was amazing, but Natalie is still really nasty

Firewire 12-06-2016 09:02 PM

Yes I think he did a tad but it was still amazing viewing

Cherie 12-06-2016 09:02 PM

No...Natalie was goading....unlike Jayne who was making a point a bout her Mum not being racist...n

GiRTh 12-06-2016 09:03 PM

Of course. Natalie is picking on him but the screaming is not needed.

Mess what does that have to do with anything

Daniel-X 12-06-2016 09:04 PM

He was goaded into it on both occasions.

LukeB 12-06-2016 09:04 PM

Yes, he wouldn't shut up and he went really over the top with the screaming and shouting.

Babayaro. 12-06-2016 09:04 PM

Yes, slightly. It was hilarious though

Jason. 12-06-2016 09:06 PM

Accidentally voted No, but yeah he did overreact imo.

:clap1:

Braden 12-06-2016 09:10 PM

Yes.

However, I understand why he reacted so badly because she made unnecessary comments that started both the arguments. The second time must have been especially infuriating because there is barely anything more personal than saying 'I hate you' to someone, and Alex berating Hughie for retaliating and making a fair point must have been really annoying.

This is a take on the ...did Natalie overreact thread...right? Unless you are suffering from Alzheimer's

Clootie Dumpling 12-06-2016 09:15 PM

He got very personal, very quickly - bringing her age into it was unnecessary and discriminatory

Nope, it's a thread asking if Hughie overreacted to tonight's events. It has nothing to do with past events lmao

And Alzheimer's isn't something to joke about :umm2:

Niamh. 12-06-2016 09:23 PM

I think he was totally over the top and aggressive

It's been on air less than a week...hardly delving into the distant past. And very similar to the Natalie thread ...and I can joke about what I like :D:

BENDERBOY 12-06-2016 09:29 PM

By a mile, but he made the show, which was either him or the repulsive Marco and Laura tryst.

erinp5 12-06-2016 09:32 PM

No her constant nastiness towards him every time he tries to give his opinion, she shuts him down , calls him names and then she plays the victim .Good for him ! She tried it with Jayne but decide Hughie was a better target.

cookiemonster 12-06-2016 09:34 PM

considering i didn't know what he was shouting about, i'm gonna go with yes. if anyone can fill me in that'd be great (i was watching it but was trying to hear it over other people talking in the room)

I didn't say it was distant past? Just answered your question that the two threads are unrelated

Also that's not how you use the quote function but w/e

Ross. 12-06-2016 09:38 PM

I don't even know I was too busy crying at how funny the whole thing was

Drew. 12-06-2016 09:40 PM

That DR rant was one of my favourite ever DR moments

hot2go 12-06-2016 09:41 PM

He was right to react but his reaction was no better than hers has been....he shouldn't let her bring him down to her level....he didn't win the argument but neither did she .
