I hadn't heard it before, but I've missed half of some of the episodes...in any case, my impression of Charlie and Jason in the house is that they had been split up for some time. They don't talk as if they were together just a few weeks before going in. :conf:

I do wonder about the pet dog. Seems a strange situation. I'm sure Jason said too that it wasn't what she had done to him, but what she had done to 'something' else that broke them up :umm2:

If true I can see why Charlie would think something of it. I mean you break up with someone then sleep with after its always gonna get messy. Especially if they still have feeling for you. Maybe this is what Charlie means by he's different on the outside worlds

..yeah, he's fully aware of how insecure and dependent Charlie is, it's exactly what he's been describing of her personality since he went into the house...so if he's contributing to and feeding those insecurities..then it's understandable how confusing it is for her as well and why she still thinks they could get back together...having said that, I quite like both of them and think it's all a bit 'set up' anyway....

He's totally leading her on and I feel quite sympathetic towards her. He keeps saying it took 3 months to 'get rid of her yet he's still having sex with her knowing full well he doesn't want a relationship and she wants him back...I think that's really sly and manipulative.

Charlie is always being called crazy and manipulative on here but I think Jason needs to shoulder some blame because he's giving her mixed signals.

Why do they even talk about it in the house, like she didn't make it clear enough that they were in a relationship :facepalm: Did she give her a full report of her sex life with dates and summaries?

Yes Ammi, I think there is something not quite right about it all. If he spent 5 months getting 'rid of her' why on earth would he then have sex with her just 3 weeks before the show...and they both individually knew they were going into BB and they both resisted the temptation of telling the other. :think:

it would also explain why Charlie was a bit taken a back about the things Jason was saying about her ON TV BTW!! Like if you've been in a relationship with someone and you've even recently slept with them, unless it ended really badly, have some respect for them. I'm not gonna say Jason doesn't care about her but he seems to of been a bit insensitive to her feeling in regards to this break up. I know he's at least handling it like a gentleman in there tho but it can't be at all easy for charley.

Perhaps the shag they had three week's ago was part of the five months it took to break up with her?

Even if it wasn't, I can easily imagine a scenario in which Charlie stalked Jason and threw herself at him, so he thought it was the easiest way to keep her quiet without causing another scene.

Look Jason is a grown man and he knows very well that sleeping with a woman whom you had just broken up with, who is still in love with you is just irresponsible.

How can you shag someone then go on tv and talk about how you had to get rid of her? What kind of ballooned does that make her look like? I'm sorry thats a bit out of order imo. I still like Jason but its just not on is it.

Is it irresponsible... Or is it just part of the messiness that is often associated with breakups despite good intentions. Most Breakups are not straightforward... And I don't think Jason has said there aren't still feelings there on his part of some kind, but knowing they aren't good for each other and doing the right thing isn't always easy.

And sex does not equal love.
