Fishbowl or something?

Sam was the instigator of that argument. Ryan told him he was only joking but went out to the garden to bitch to the other guys. Over stating what had actually happened.

I was confused throughout the argument with them all shouting over each other. So yes, something about a punchbowl.

I don't even know nor care.

In an argument between Hughie and Alex they may as well be speaking in Arabic

I think that Alex, Sam and maybe Chelsea pooled their share of the alcohol to make a punch and Ryan mistook it as taking more than their fare share...
But Ryan wasn't joking and Sams instincts were right

It's just a bowl with lots of alcohol in it. Like a massive cocktail.

I think it was more about Hughie not liking Sam and Alex's approach not the alcohol.

It was because they wouldn't let ryan join in,rightly so cause the carpets ****ed already.

For as long as I remember when Big Brother gives the housemates alcohol there is ALWAYS some kind of argument or blowout. Even the smallest amount of drink goes to their heads. I am sure they can drink double or triple that amount outside the house and not have such stupid bloody strops.

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who couldn't understand what was it all about.
It's sad how alcohol plays a major part in their lives. :bored:

Fact one.
On dishing out the alcohol sam alex and chelsea put theirs together into a fishbowl because they like to down their drinks asap, ryan wanted to join in but they said no because he was sick when he did it the last time..


Fact two
Ryan left slightly put out and went back to the bedroom where he told latyesha that "they" were not allowed....the first lie as they said "he" wasn't.


Fact three
All that seemed forgotten about because sam went into the bedroom to ask if there was a problem, he got three answers from hughie ryan and latyesha all saying no, there was no problem.


Fact four
Sam then went out into the garden and spun a fairy tale about how there was a problem to Alex, the second lie.


Fact five
Alex went back to the bedroom to confront ryan but asked a sweeping statement to the room if there was a problem.


Fact six
A bit of shouting happened which included alex telling hughie to shut up and mind his own business. Hughie did just that and let sam, teesh alex and ryan have a back and forth argument that was just insults really..it all seemed to have blown over when hughie decided it was now his turn to have his say and his argument was with alex and his hypocrisy of telling hughie to mind his own business when he himself had done the same thing in a previous argument...hughie was in control if a bit loud and shouty but was only putting his side of things to alex when bb called him.



Fact seven
Bb only calling him was what triggered his initial rage,then the direct provocation from alex calling him a boy or kid as he smirked and waved at hughie infuriated him more.



Fact eight.
There was no reason for bb to get involved initially and they caused this.

It really doesn't matter who's in the right and who's the wrong. BB didn't "take side", that's not why they call hm to the DR. Hughie went from 0 to 100 in a second and it's not the first time it happens. He has some serious anger management issues.
Even if Alex was purely teasing him, he wasn't shouting and standing on the bed like maniac.
Hughie could disagree with him and call him names and whatever, fair enough - but he clearly doesn't know how to do it in a reasonable way.

You are missing the point that everything you just described happening happened AFTER bb had singled out Hughie by only calling him to the diary room.

Thats when he became angry due to being frustrated.

you even said "hughie decided it was now his turn to have his say and his argument" and then it was when it kicked off. Hughie thrives having his say (=shout) and he doesn't know doing it calmly or even shouting from his bed without the thug-standing-in-your-face attitude.
Alex told him to shut up and tried stop him from going further to Sam because he already knows how Hughie is and that he's clearly going out of proportion and loses his temper once again. He could have rephrased it as "calm down" instead of "shut up", but Hughie would have taken it the same way.

At least irrelevant Alex got 2.4 seconds of camera time. He should thank Sam, to be frank.

Tell me one thing, when you watch the video that doesn't play, when alex tells hughie to shut up and mind his business, does he?

I think you wlill find he does, but then when he gets his chance he has his say and was in the middle of nailing the whole sorry episode on the head when bb pulled him for no reason than his voice was loud, it wasnt even as bad as sam and ryans slanging match fgs.

First of all, no need to use the "you're as bad as...".

I'm not interested in Hughie nor in Alex (and I even dislike Sam).I'm not even taking sides in this stupid argument. I couldn't care less about any of them three, tbh. In the video, which is still available for me anyway (out side of the uk, but you can watch it on demand), Hughie starts shouting his point of view. Fair enough. Then he stands up, raising his voice even more and going to Sam's direction throwing his hands here and there. At this point Alex tells him to shut up (as I said, he could rephrase it, but still no reason to lose it) and tries to block him with his hand and puts it on his shoulder to make him move away from raging further more, while Hughie's sticking fingers at Alex. All this time Alex stands quite calmly, barely raising his voice and Sam lies on the bed.
Hughie's dealing with the situation and expressing his disagreement is irrational. It's not the first time. He threw a few tantrums back when he was in the other house. 0 to 100 here, 0 to 100 there. It's not healthy and it's disturbingly irrational. Had he responded with the same content but from his bed and not coming in people's face, fair enough - valid argument.

I still cant see any reason for bb pulling him to the diary room..the only reason i can see is the fact he is a traveller and their reputation proceeds them, its unfair persecution, nothing more, nothing less.
