Would not surprise me at all, but it would still annoy me that we've been robbed of a longer civilian series.

I mean they do keep getting longer and longer so it wouldn't surprise me

I hope not anyway the reason BB is not getting the ratings they want is because they overkill, they're so stupid cah

They pay for 13 weeks of BB/CBB each summer and if you work it out each civilian and summer CBB every year has added up to that give or take a week, so this would be entirely unsurprising and just go to show that they've cut this series to make room for an extended CBB :rolleyes:

What's next year? Three weeks for civilian and the celebs get a full ten week run, so we've done a 360? Pathetic

They are gonna keep getting lower ratings for cbb because people will lose interest

Summer CBB is usually lowkey trash so I'm not here for 7 weeks of it

I agree with the winter CBB being extended, I always want it to break the record each year, but I draw the line when they cut the civilian series back to make way for their prize possession :sleep:

This will flop big time. I say do 7 weeks of CBB in Jan/Feb and then give us our 11 weeks for civilian in the summer back and forget the second CBB

Tbh as much as I'd love to watch Lady C for 7 weeks, it does make more sense for them to make the winter series longer instead of the summer one

Not here for it being 7 weeks if it nearly runs into October Welp

The summer one seems like the one they'd try things out on so they didn't screw up the winter ones ratings that's probably why they're extending the summer one first

I REALLY hope it's not seven weeks. I wouldn't be surprised with C5 though. CBB should be 3 and a half weeks long at MOST.

Ryland did announce on BOTS that BB is half way thru and audience did cheer with him. He was so happy.

I would be so annoyed if this does happen, and it would be a damn shame to see civilian BB slowly disappear because of it

While I never expected the Summer CBB to last 7 weeks I did expect some sort of extension in length to January's CBB17 series. I guess that BB17 was meant to last 10 weeks and CBB18 5 weeks but now with this series being cut to 8 weeks they have an added 2 weeks to show which has been added to CBB18. Dread to think how long CBB19 in Januay will be though, probably 9 weeks with a 6 week BB18 in June.

In a way though our celebs get it easy in the UK as in Australia their I'm a Celebrity lasts 45 days and Bigg Boss in India goes over 100 days.
