I presume so. And it wasn't a huff!! I heard he was quite calm just got up took off his mic and said 'You can say whatever you want about me,but don't mock my wife' and walked out. I'm gonna be awwwing like mad!

he was a fool to appear on the show .. the main reason they have guests on is to mock them. Danny Tourette being a classic example. Preston must have known Simon was going to lampoon his misses.
Still gonna watch wednesday's episode though. He ( Preston) should have stood up for his misses, not walked out.. i bet the Chantelle jibes went into overdrive after he'd left.

They started reading out of Chantelles book. He is really protective of Chantelle. They were mocking him LOADS!But once it got to Chantelle he just left! I actually don't know precisley what was said because I had my fingers in my ears :laugh:

It's on Saturday night. I won't spoil it for you but I think you might change your stance when you see it.

He wasn't doing fine. It was obvious he was annoyed right from the beginning - he even said so himself.

Also - has everyone forgotten that they didn't actually say anything bad about Chantelle? They quoted from her book, and if the book was not rubbish there would have been nothing funny about it. The bits he read out just sounded like an the mindless thoughts of a bimbo - sorry to be harsh. They didn't need to say anything else.

Another point - Preston doesn't like his wife being humiliated - yet he had no problem publicly humiliating his (then) girlfriend when he was on Big Brother by blatantly flirting with someone else. The words pot and kettle come to mind. And he's quick enough to criticise other people in the public eye...if he can't take it, maybe he shouldn't dish it out.

I didn't catch the comment at the beginning but it was quite clear he didn't like it. What does he expect. On Buzzcocks Simon picks on all the celebrities. He made a comment about Ed Byrne and the Car phone warehouse. He made a couple of comments to Madge from Neighbours. Preston was the only one who got upset.

I thought the section that Simon read out wasn't humiliating at all. I've seen much worse writing. I have no idea what set him off.

He's made himself look a much bigger prat than they ever could have. He needs to get a grip and not take things so seriously.

I thought he looked majorly p****d off from the start when the presenter said the 2 ordinary boys fans weren't in the country.. LOL then he was getting more annoyed. I think Preston needs a SOH transplant. I thought the show was great. :joker:

I'm gonna give up! I love Preston and think it was the sweetest thing like ever! You lot obviously don't :laugh:. Each to their own.

I can't say I watched it I was too busy sticking pins in my eyes but from what I heard and read today my suspisions have been right all along, Preston really is a first class prat and hypercrite!!

If I must but I ain't saying nothing after this! Preston imo was doing fine when they mocking him. I've seen him on loads of things and he seemed fine! He doesn't mind people taking the mic out of him. But people can't say that he should have expecting to have the mic taken out of Chantelle. Thats not taking the mic outta of him which I know 'Buzzcocks' does. They take the mic out of people. But they weren't mocking him they were mocking his wife!He is really proctective of Chantelle and he does love her dearly. I can clearly understand why he walkd. He was just sticking up for his wife when Amstell was clearly taking the piss outtta her being a bit ditzy. It would have been easier to take it and just laugh but he didn't and that I think was amazing of him.

It was very chivalrous but he shouldn't have done it. Plain and simple. He's come out of it looking like a prat. I understand that he's very protective of Chantelle. He'd have to be as she's not the sharpest tool in the box. He should have taken it on the chin. I suppose walking out was amazing and very romantic too, but it wasn't the smart move.

Someone in heat said : 'Love is....making yourself look stupid and not caring' That kinda sums it up. Preston doesn't care what he does as long as he has Chantelle and he takes care of her.
