BB13, BB14 or BB17
 

We've passed what could have been a series destroying week (when in actual fact it was pretty amazing).. BB13, 14 & 17 seem to be the most praised civilian series on 5. With just over a week to go, which would you rate as the best?

BB17 because Annhilation week actually gave some good results.

13 just about. 17 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 14 though.

Bb13 >>>>>>> bb17 > bb14

I don't think they'll over top 13 though, it doesn't mean this series isn't good because it's amazing but 13 was somethin else

I still think I'd go with BB13 but 17 has been pretty damn brilliant. :love:

14 massively pales in comparison to both imo.

BB14 and BB17 were always equal for me, mostly since the latter is so short that it's hard to give it a proper chance

But after tonight, BB17 is just below BB13

13 is a better series because it had that whole story vibe of good defeating evil, but 17 has better individual housemates, whereas 13 only had two greats (Deana and Lydia)

It's hard, 14 is good but easily third

14 > 13 >>>> 17

:/ aspects of this series have been amazing but I still can't love it due to the endless negative decisions production have made

i feel like the only reason I rank BB13 so highly is because good overcame evil in the end


So if say Jayne won this series over Jackson I might prefer this one

BB17 has had the best eviction order of any series, but BB13 was much more entertaining in my opinion.

Depending on how it ends this series is well on course to be my favourite on C5

But I still have a bad feeling about the end, so...

I actually prefer BB14 because of the characters in there at the time, Sam as the winner was pretty dull and if Alex wins this year i won't be happy.

I'm torn between this & 13...

14 and 17 were tied before tonight but 17 is firmly above 14 now

Even if Jayne, Evelyn and Laura stage a mass walkout tomorrow, making way for a Jackson-Alex-Adolf Hitler final three, this will still be the second best Channel 5 civilian series and I'm so grateful for that (especially after the dirge we've had to sit through to get here)

BB17 is beautiful and the closest to the golden era that Ch5 will get

1) Tasks were Amazing, Twists were amazing, Housemates were amazing... The only issues were the ugly aesthetic and Brian Dowlin.
2) BB17 great set of housemates, and normal noms back every week for the first time in two years. However a few filler housemates, awful tasks.
3) Emma hosting, nice c4 esque house, OK housemates. Unfortunately had a few dry, boring weeks.

Would probably take BB14 for the Live Feed, but this year has been a massive improvement on the past two years. Not quite perfect, but for a civilian series it could've been much worse...

Now that all are over

BB13 > BB17 > BB14

BB17 had the best cast by miles but BB13 had a better story

BB17 for me, it has been one of the best series so far :)

Both BB14/17 are on par for me. They both had good casts and some great moments, despite their production flaws and dull patches.

BB13 is the complete package as far as C5 BB goes imo. A good cast, a highly entertaining and compelling storyline which runs throughout the entire series, some amazing tasks and production isn't too shabby either compared to the convoluted nature of the show nowadays.

BB14 had a good cast?.

I still stand by this. I'd love BB18 to be topping all three though this time next year.

Yeah, it wasn't bad.

I'd put it above BB12, BB15 and BB16's casts by far

BB14's cast was rather dull

BB14 had Gina, Hazel, Sallie, Dan, Jemima, Jackie, Charlie, Dexter and Callum - all who are liked to varying degrees across the forum and are considered 'good housemates' and that's 9 housemates out of a cast of 14 which is a good portion so yeah I'd say it had a good cast overall now thinking about it today.

Speaking of which, BB16's cast has aged horribly for me actually. It looked better and diverse at the time because it followed BB15 which had a samey and unpleasant cast, but BB16's was full of rather bland and unrootable people looking back and most of them lasted really long.

I mean everyone agrees that BB16 has a great female cast (minus Sarah) but one of the worst male casts ever, if not the worst

Tbh even BB16's female cast hasn't aged well for me.

Eileen was only good in week 1/2, Jade only had Week 3 and became wallpaper till a few days before her eviction and by then she was gone. Sam was dull and annoying, Sarah is nothing special at all. Adjoa was evicted way too soon so we didn't get to see her full potential. And the twins were boring and really overrated on here for some reason. Chloe wasn't that great either but I'm glad she won as she was the best of a really bad bunch of finalists.

I only enjoyed Harry-Amelia really but even then I don't think she's as good as the likes of Deana, Lydia, Gina, Jayne

So Harriet is the only one you like? :)
