Blatantly manipulative HLs

Jason hatchet job and a huge promotion of Hughie. Particularly through the use of DR comments to support that storyline.

It would be laughable if it wasn't so sad.:bored:

Not to mention extended highlights of Jackson in the DR

Beso 17-07-2016 09:11 PM

camera don't lie duck.

Cherie 17-07-2016 09:11 PM

There was a good edit for most tonight tbf

Jan S 17-07-2016 09:17 PM

to be fair, if jason's gone all introspective there probably wasn't much to work with but if he had anything good apart from his laughing jag they've not shown us.

andy did what he could for him and then had to have a break, shake off the week and have a little fun.

I noticed they didn't show Jasons reasons for not dancing which was quite funny.

The camera showed nothing but some bitching in the DR. Oh and someone not dancing and so apparently an outcast.

Tbh people should be careful what they say to each other on here because some of these people will want to chat with each other again once the series is over and they won't be able to if they keep throwing personal digs around.

Just remember guys it's BB, not Politics.:joker:

:joker::joker: Well who's that then ?

Withano 17-07-2016 10:00 PM

I dunno how to feel about tonightw highlights.. There were some really long scenes.. Andy and Jasons chat dragged, Jackson explaining his dance, Hughie drunken DR chat too was unusually long..
I think maybe they didnt do much all day and just had to use any sort of filler? Either that or they brought a new producer in? Something was different about it.

"I put it to the court M'Laud, that young Housemates being SEEN to be jigging and - apparently laughing - does not mean beyond a reasonable doubt, that the fun and frivolity was genuine. Given the nature of this.... Reality TV Game Show, and the motives of those contestants in question, it is not beyond the realms of possibility that the said fun and laughter was forced... one may even suggest... fraudulent, M'Laud..... Conversely, I would put it to the Court, that Mr Burrill's melancholy WAS genuine.... So the question for the Jury to consider, is this M'Laud - Who is guilty in this case?.... The FAKE merrymakers or the GENUINE Mr Burrill? "

Bull****, there were various moaning DRs from people like Hughie and Andy.

It would never be as laughable as the fans using editing as an excuse for ****ty behaviour though

The court find Mr Burrill guilty as charged for being a miserable bastard and sentence him to eviction this Friday.

In fairness, MM, wouldn't any of us, if we were in there, have had issues with Charlie, Laura, Evelyn, Ryan and now Hughie?

Slight caveat there; I quite like Laura. Anyone who tells the UK public to **** off on national telly is okay in my book

starry 18-07-2016 12:15 AM

The main problem is you get people going along with the crowd, and much of the audience want to do that as well.

tanussa 18-07-2016 02:24 AM

with noms round the corner all I could see was all HMs, with exception of jason, trying to keep in with the crowd, some more desperately than others trying to avoid getting nominated, a bit sad really

Ammi 18-07-2016 05:08 AM

..I guess that it's funny how we all perceive things differently when we all watch the same but I didn't see the HL show as manipulative in favour of Hughie...it was mentioned a few times that he won't talk to Jason, so that's not really him being shown in a 'good light', is it...that's showing him to be a bit stubborn etc sometimes...and then him having fun, obviously so a balance...also with Jason, it showed him being so amused at the Hughie falling in the pool moment at the end...which was his balance in what were quite miserable HL's for him ...but then, so many housemates commented on his 'misery' so there wouldn't have been many positive HLs to show...Hughie wasn't shown in a better light, he just has a better character to show.....

For me it showed andy in a way we have not seen, playfully funny and relaxed, his take on Jason was spot on.

That maybe the case but when it was Andy who felt ostracised and isolated, it was Jason who stood in his corner
Now the roles are reversed and Andy finds himself welcomed to the fold, whilst Jason is the one who is alone with Hughie not wanting to speak to him, where is Andy now?

Jase stood alone on the sinking ship
When all the rest had fled,
Looking out at the Clique's lifeboat
Where Andy laid his treacherous head.

Vanessa 18-07-2016 09:56 AM

Jason was feeling down, but he will be fine. He's a very strong person. I'm confident he will pick himself up.
