Introduce the housemates as you know them

I don't have any idea what most of them are like. I only saw Biggins on IAC, so I know how he's as a person (or on reality TV).
It looks like some of them have a bold reputation on the forum.
Enlighten me (and others who are also unfamiliar with them) about the other housemates, how did they come across in other TV shows/public perception and what we should expect from them.
Why is Frankie so hated, what's the buzz around Chloe, Saira on The Apprentice, etc... Why did you like/hate them from before CBB.

Frankie was a stuck up camp queen who acted up to the cameras during big brother usa, he would dress up a pretend to be a southern bell which no one found funny. He lived of his sisters name, and joked that a group of the male houseguests should take a girls virginity in the house by gangbanging her..... hope that helps

WTF?

Renee - She can be loud and confrontational when she wants to be, but she's also kind and loving. She's proud of her mob/mafia roots.
Bear - He likes to stir the pot a lot and if he hears someone bitching about someone he'll go and tell the person being bitched about just to start some drama.

I loved Saira off Loose Women, didn't see her on Apprentice but I know that there is no topic of conversation that is out of bounds. If she has a problem with someone she will definitely let them know but not in an insulting way. She also has a great sense of humour

Paula D 29-07-2016 11:15 AM

Sam Fox has always come across as a down to earth straight talking girl.

She was on I'm a Celebrity once and came across well.

starry 29-07-2016 11:32 AM

Even if I end up watching this I'm not that interested in pre-conceived opinions on who I'm supposed to like or not supposed to like.

-Sue- 29-07-2016 11:34 AM

Have to be honest I only know
Biggins (on safari, rentaghost actor panto legend)
Sam fox (page 3 star from back in the day and of course the 1 hit wonder)
James Whale Mr Controversial - Tv & Radio star from back in the 80s-90s and beyond...
Ricky Eastenders

The rest I would have to google..so many of them I would never consider celeb's - just someone who might have been in the news..the others appear to be either no actual talent almost everything on them is fake lets have a shag on telly / or get our clothes off and get famous types...

Pete. 29-07-2016 11:36 AM

Saira - A RTV icon & the star of the Apprentice
Aubrey - A RTV icon & the star of the Apprentice
Frankie - A toxic gay psycho
Samantha - A talented musician & model
Chloe - A talented musician & model

hot2go 29-07-2016 11:43 AM

Biggins....no way near as accomplished as he makes out ....mostly played minor roles as an actor and annoying roles as a celebrity.

hot2go 29-07-2016 11:46 AM

Grant...only famous for being married to a celebrity....caused a commotion when him and Anthea Turner used their wedding photos in Hello Magazine to promote cadburys chocolate after being paid big money to do so....he is all about the money

hot2go 29-07-2016 11:48 AM

Sam Fox....Very Famous in the 80s in the UK and in Europe....much more famous than any of the other British housemates are today....down to Earth girl who's long term girlfriend died last August

He was also insanely jealous of Donny, who was possibly one of the nicest housemates ever. Donny scooped the 'favourite housemate' spot in that season and Frankie turned a not very attractive shade of green. A nasty type, fake piled on more fake.

This is what I find difficult to understand. How can anyone be proud of being part of a family/organisation that deals in human misery, not to mention murder?:conf:

I remember biggins opening our local raft race in the 80's and falling in the river, he floated.

Should have taken advantage of an opportunity like that and tied a bag of gravel around his neck as he tried to make it back to shore .

Livia 29-07-2016 12:34 PM

I know Sam Fox is an ex-glamour model, Grant Bovey is probably described as a "celebrity love rat", Biggins is a much-loved, camp old Queen most famous for IAC, pantomime and having a bit-part in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. James Wale made a career from being a confrontational dinosaur. Heavy D I've only seen once on my Dad's telly when he was watching some show about bidding for stuff in storage units and Heavy D was leaping about wearing a scrum cap and making a **** of himself. Katie Waissel I recall as an attention-seeking, psychologically vulnerable wannabe from the X Factor and Saira only came to my attention when I read in the press that she told her husband he could have sex with other people. I don't know any of the others.

armand.kay 29-07-2016 12:49 PM

Renee - The chick doesn't take any **** but is a kind hearted soul.
Chloe - Misunderstood girl
Frankie - Horrible person / a more conniving perez.
Marnie - Loyal chick, very sexual and flirty.

You can't say that she's much more famous than any of the other british housemates because if you were born in the 90's or younger like me then I have no idea of who she is. To me even Renee is more famous than her becuase i actually saw her before she went on BB or heard about her in the rumours. I would say that Biggins is the most famous

Chuckyegg 29-07-2016 01:45 PM

Sam is most famous.
Teens don't know her but they don't make up a very large proportion of society
even though they prob make up a large proportion of this forum.

Try her on Google images. Squillions of fab pics.

People don't have to be part of someone's generation to be famous....if you haven't heard of her that makes sense if you are too young to know her....but it doesn't diminish how well known she was...Biggins is only famous in this country and even that's for very little. Sam Fox was at the top of her game, Biggins is at the bottom of his.

Yes, but it's nice to know their reputation from people who watched them before...

So you may not end up watching it, you are not interested in other people's opinions... I'm inquisitive as to what it is you're expecting from a Big Brother forum.

Macie Lightfoot 29-07-2016 03:43 PM

someone should just c/p my Frankie post over here bc I'm mobile

Please dear god, don't let that be the case...lol

James 30-07-2016 03:00 AM

Christopher Biggins - Remember him mainly for the children's programme Rentaghost, and various celebrity panel and gameshows he did around that time. I didn't watch him on I'm a Celebrity... actually maybe I did now I think of it, because I remember he did a task with Janice Dickenson.
Chloe Khan - I recall some of the tabloid stories that appeared about her after she was on X Factor. I think she dated Wagner.
Grant Bovey - Years ago there were stories in the press about his relationship with presenter Anthea Turner. Know nothing of his personality.
Heavy D - I don't know him but I have watched the US version of Storage Wars, so can guess his personality.
James Whale - I used to watch his early 90s late-night ITV show, The James Whale Radio Show. I think it was on before club show Hitman and Her. Opinionated radio host.
Katie Waissel - watched the series of X Factor where she was a contestant. She might have been mentored by Cheryl Cole and claimed to have fallen out with her, or something like that.
Saira Khan - her and her rival Paul Torisi were my favourite contestants on the first UK series of The Apprentice. I haven't really watched any of her TV work since. Daytime shows I think. Sassy female so she will have a fanbase on TiBB.
Sam Fox - Famous in the 80s as a Page 3 (Sun newspaper) glamour model. Also had a number one record at the height of her fame.

I don't know the others.

I think if you surveyed the British public Sam Fox would probably be the most recognised housemate in the series.

Shaun 30-07-2016 03:18 AM

Saira - she was on the Apprentice series 1 and made the final two I believe? I didn't watch much of it.
Biggins - I know of him through IAC and seems to laugh a lot
Ricky - fired off Eastenders for smoking pot
Samantha Fox - disastrous BRIT Awards hosting stint
Renee - that woman Hayden has heard of
Aubrey - she found Coco Montrese's perfume ad a little too leopard-print garish and thought everyone's perfumes (bar Alaska's) smelled like grandma's vag
Heavy D - He was on Storage Hunters and they bid for stuff I guess
Frankie - Seems awful every time I see him on Twitter
Katie - I think she took her shoes off in a sing-off on the X Factor and everyone lost their damn minds
Chloe - trashy X Factor audition

i do not know marnie, lewis, bear, grant or james

James 30-07-2016 03:24 AM

Oh yeah, Sam Fox hosting the Brit Awards with Mick Fleetwood is one of the most infamous live TV events in the UK.

That WAS a shocker  poor Sam, it couldn't have gone any worse in every aspect but somehow she got all the blame.
She still made a better fist of it then James Corden who rudely and unprofessionaly cut Adele off in the middle of her acceptance speech for best album. Nob head. And look at him now, burrowing his way up the backsides of Americas rich and shameless. If he gets to soar in popularity after his massive balls up at the Brits then our Sam def deserves a new start.

bots 30-07-2016 01:47 PM

There is a reason for Sam's success. Not only is she a very astute business women, she was also an incredibly attractive women. I had the pleasure of meeting her when she was in her prime, and she was jaw droppingly, all natural, stunning.

i remember him from way back when and, quite frankly, panto seemed his limit for me; he has managed to slide into so many 'celeb' parties over the years that he has this verbal autograph book of one-upmanship when it comes to name dropping. as bad as david gest except at least david gest was actually married to liza minelli for a while :hehe:

i did think he came across well on IAC, but since then he's slipped right down from being a tv twerp turned IAC winner to aging, spiteful queen who believes the hype of his 'national treasure' status :vomemoji:

lovebigbrotheruk 30-07-2016 02:47 PM

I literally know 2.

Higgins - Off IAC
Saira - The Apprentice and Loose Women.
