I'm shaking
 

At the thought of travelling to the orthodontist today to get my braces fitted.

2 years ago, they tried! But my gag reflex was so strong that I had to quickly run away from the chair and sort my panic attack self out, really shook me.

I'm very scared for today and hope that everyone said a little prayer for me this morning.

I'm feeling sick at the prospect and trying not to gag whilst typing right now, I'm shaking.

I've even purchased all the stuff which they put inside the mouth whilst fitting them to prepare my self.

A very uncertain day a head for me, really need the support.

Wow the clock is ticking closer and closer... Tick tock shaking at the prospect.

Good luck, it's not that bad honest (and I have the biggest gag reflex) and it doesn't hurt at all getting them on. It'll start to hurt tonight though so make sure you take painkillers!

I still have mine on after 4 and a half years... 2 years they said :worry:

Just shows you what a nervous wreck I am today.

The only thing the put in the mouth is the lip opener?

Just had some news, I'm leaving at 2:30, 15 mins earlier than expected.

It's really hitting me now, had to stand up for bit, sipping on some water - still shaking.

Less than 10 mins till I'm leaving, heck.

It's 4:22 now here in Greece :D

ooh how I'd loved it to be 4:30pm, I'd be back home, perching couples come dine with me, maybe thinking of having a takeaway - opening up the just eat app and looking through all the restaurants.

Good luck though :laugh: I had braces fitted when I was at school and had the same problem, gagging on the mold thing was horrible :worry: It doesn't last long though and it's worth it.

Wow, I'm back! Didn't gag once! God and other pop stars were holding my hand whilst I was having them fitted.

So proud of myself, I'm home now!

My orthodontist told me to say no, because I'd have to have them for the rest of my life. It's not even like my teeth are crooked - they're perfectly straight and clean but there's a gap between my two front teeth so the years of braces wouldn't count and they'd spring back to what they're like now.

tbh i remember the most painful thing to do with braces being the blocks you had to bite down on to get photos taken or w.e

....awwww, you did well, Will../Will Well..you star...:hug:...and it's over now as well, so a great feeling with that, eh...and you'll get more used to them with the ice-cream and eating etc...
