Most Haunted Live: Transylvania
 

The next Most Haunted Live is to take place on the 23rd February 2007 for three nights and for the first time the team will visit abroad for a live investigation from Transylvania, Romania. The team will investigate Corvin's Castle and they will attempt to make contact with the spirit ‘Vlad the Impaler’ thought to be the inspiration behind the legend of ‘Dracula’.

Is Most Haunted a serious programme? .. surely you dont believe all this hocus pocus Lauren. Derek Acorah does'nt really speak to the spirit world, it's a sham. I watch it sometimes just to laugh at it.

....Derek Acorah was thrown off the show ages ago cos the parapsychologist tricked him? Surely this shows they're not for hocus pocus. :conf:

Infact, the new medium plays a very small role within the show - a lot of it is based on scientific readings, and has taken a very spectical standpoint as of recent.

I love Most Haunted!I used to think it was just rubbish but now im really into it.

Hehe, good stuff. I've been a viewer since the very first MH show. :shocked: That was so long ago now.

I've been watching it alot on ftn recently and it's all based on Derek Acorah on there and at times he is very laughable! He seems to say the same old dribble like, there was definatley witchcraft and dark arts performed here or if you were living here you would definatley here a bang?

So on that front, it's good that Most Haunted has got rid of one of the idiots that are trying to fool everyone. I've got question marks over the presenter, she's always saying she's cold and she feels ill... call her a doctor please! A few of the other people are weird and not someone you can entireley believe, i.e the fat chick who always seems to be crapping a bucket load.

I always like live events because then you can actually see it unfold as it is and gives you less chance to discredit such things as banging in another rooms, or even tricks of the camera.

It should be good, it's a good show!

It would be even better if they had one special guest every week to tag along and add to the experiences.

I loved Richard Felix the historian (a little too much, some may say?). But then they got rid of him :sad:

No idea what her name is but she's very annoying! I wouldn't trust her to wash my undies, put it that way. There's just something about her that makes me want to go, shush and stop being a wimp! She's in a haunted house, in the dark, with alot of people, but she moans about how she don't like it and how shes scared, go back to selling mackeral on the street corner then!!!!

I would actually like that other median to go on most haunted, colin fry... he can speak to dead peoples moms and dads, aunties and fish so he would defo bring some credability towards them.

The medium they have on their now (David Wells) is brilliant.

Oh and the fat lady is just the make-up artist for Yvette (Cos Yvette is an albino) - but they're good friends so she does the investigations too.

Yeah David Wells is better but he has his moments at times!

I'm gonna watch this tonite. I haven't watched it since the whole "Kreed Kafer" debacle a few years ago, but I love that castle. I saw it on "Scariest Places on Earth" and it truly is terrifying! There is a ton of history there as well, which is really interesting.

I'm glad Derek isn't on the show anymore, and to be honest, I should have probably given it a chance when he got booted off, but I was so p!ssed off with it at the time, that I just stopped watching.

However, I intend to watch it tonight. You gonna be online as well Lauren, on the site with the live webcams? I might do that as well.

Oooooh... damn, I just remembered I'm home alone for a few hours tonight.. I will definitely be online at the same time, just so that I don't feel like I'm ALONE :shocked:

Lmao Linda, I saw it on Scariest Places on Earth too, with that geordie man exorcist presenter guy - Alan Robson? Well I know him personally. How much do I rock?

Anyway, I'm just glad MH has moved away from the Kreed Kafer/Rik Eedles lies and they've now moved onto having critical analysis which was prevalent in last nights show. Ciaron O'Keefe has a much larger role to play now with his 'gadgets' and they include more history (even though that new historian is a pile of wa*k).

I didn't watch webcams last night online because then usually they freeze and I get peed off majorly at my laptop. But I wish I had now, so I could have seen the Karl/Stuart thing again when they saw the man (Vlad Tepes?) looking through the window at them.

What did everyone else think of the show last night?

Its too scarey for me

Was good last night, but i missed the first hour. I could have watched it on +1 but then it ruins the whole 'live' thingy.

That clip of Karl/Stuart was so weird, if only the cam had been a few centimeters to the right we might have got a to see what they saw.

I'm definitely tuning in tonight.

Oh, i had a strange encounter last night. I was messing around with my digi cam and i took a picture of my bedroom door and i noticed a big 'orb' so i went to take another picture of the door and the it said the batteries were low, even though i had put brand spanking new batteries in about 2 hours before. Then i moved the camera over to the left a bit and took a photo and i got another 'Orb' so again i went to take another picture and the camera went dead. I turned it on again and took another picture of the area right beside me and, yep, another 'Orb' but then the camera went dead again. It was freaking me out and annoying me a bit so i turned it back on and i took a picture of the TV and just after the flash went off the Camera switched off and the TV went on stand by. Anyway, i just thought it was a bit freaky.

Aaron - when batteries go low even though they are new it is meant to be a sign of the paranormal because apparently they drain batteries for energy so that they can show themselves in forms of orbs, so that fits. :shocked:

Something weird happened last night but I think we were just jumpy cos weird things have been happening in my house recently, but we were watching TV around 7pm, and the TV just switched itself off completely. So we assumed there may be a technical fault, and I said "I will try and put it back on" then as I was walking towards the TV it came back on, onto a random Russian channel on Sky.

I used to like it but I went off it cos it just seemed fake to me.

Of course its fake!

Loz, I didn't watch it last nite on account of the "home alone" status. But, I might tune in tonite, cuz muh man is here to protect me from muh scary imagination!!! hahaha!

Did anyone else watching see that piece of footage! It was so scarey.

For people who didnt see, it was taken on a mobile phone and it showed 2 girls walking away and you could see a figue come up from the floor and follow them.

Defintly better then last night. I loved when Yvette & Karl went up stairs, a bit scarey but very funny.

Tomorrow's show is gonna be great.

Oh yeah, the parapsychologist tricked him by mentioning a name before the show started in passing, loudly - so that Derek heard. He said to another crew member "There's a "Kreed Kafer" that haunts here isn't there?" and then during the show Derek mentioned that he was being posessed by someone called Kreed Kafer... of course, Kreef Kafer is an acronym for "Derek Faker" :tongue:

There was also a similar incident with the name "Rik Eedles" (Derek Lies) and the same thing happened! :rolleyes: Haha.

Last nights show was good, but I wish they wouldn't have breaks every 10 seconds, it really gets annoying when they've just started a sceance it always goes to a break! I understand logistically it must be difficult with wires and things and they always have to re-location, but still!

The start of the show was a bit boring but then it started to get really exciting and id definitely say this was the best of the 3 nights.

It was very funny when Stuart & Karl came back from the roof and Yvette was shouting at them pmsl. It was very funny.
Anyone notice that whenever Karl & Stuart go off together something always happens to one of them. I remember one of the MHL last year when they were left alone and Stuart attack Karl lol

When they first entered the dungeon i thought it was a bit of a anti-climax but then it got so good lol. When the bones start being thrown at them, freaking hell lol.

The last 15 minutes was very uncomfortable viewing it think, it was the first time i was really really really worried about all of them. When Yvette start hitting Karl i got very worried and I did think for a second Karl was gonna smack Yvette back.

I hope everything was alright and everyone got out a-ok!

btw - For the next HML, Can we request that Paul doesn't say 'Were going to go on the shortest of shortest breaks' because whenever he does it goes on a break for about an hour lol.

Lmao! The next MHL will be probably June for Summer Solstice.
I hate how he says "the shortest of short breaks" - cue a 10 min long break!

And then I hate how he ALWAYS mentions how he's in "the heart of Romania!"

I didn't watch it, cos I was working when the first 2 were on so I thought no point.. Do you know if it will be repeated?

Ooh just remembered the last 15 mins when Karl was going weird/posessed he kept muttering Hungarian words? I'd have loved it if they'd got Andreash to translate what he was saying, it was sooo freaky!

They won't show the whole night, but they usually have a programme on called "Most Haunted Almost Live" where they show highlights from the 3 nights that they were there. I will keep an eye on the telly schedule for you and let you know when it is on. :thumbs:

Karl was possessed..?

I watched a repeat of Most Haunted the other night when Stuart was apparantly being "beat up" by a spirit.... lol

He wasn't possessed but his face started changing and he wouldn't move he was just sitting there and although he said he was alright he was getting vicious and Yvette had to slap him.

Dumb but funny

i really enjoyed last nights show, it was werod seeing yvette slap her own husband, when the man near the telle was telling them to leave i thought they were going to leave him on his own there.
