How does wallpaper like Ricky get voted top of a save vote?
 

I think the voting needs looking into. He isn't just any old wallpaper......he is that anaglypta stuff that people just painted magnolia in the 70s.

He actually makes housemates like Maysoon look interesting.

Is it just eastenders fans voting or what? I honestly forget he is in the house most of the time.

Katie Price didn't actually do anything. She turned up about a week to go to the final. She said about three words and she won by a landslide.

Katie Price was the only good thing about CBB15 once Alicia left so she 100% deserved to win :)

Ricky does have a bit of a temper. He doesn't show violence but you can see he is seething inside.

Don't watch Eastenders...I just like Ricky because he's amazing eye candy and actually seems to have something going on inside his head.

I never watch Eastenders (horrible programme, shudder shudder) ... but I understand Ricky's character was called 'Fatboy'. How comes? He is not fat!:huh:

I think it's a reflection of the others up for eviction, and a case that viewers are fed up with the likes of the ridiculous Bear and the smug Lewis, as well as the somewhat delusional comments of Sam.

In other circumstances, in a different series and with different housemates, I don't think Ricky would have come out top in a vote to save. And he certainly would not have a chance of winning.

However, I don't believe this vote is about Ricky at all.

This is not an Eastenders vote, but a protest vote, and the large majority of viewers sending a clear message to the likes of Bear and Lewis (and probably BB) that they've had enough of the fake, regurgitated 'performances' of those from what are ironically referred to as 'reality' shows, in which there is more acting than there is on Eastenders, but of a very poor quality.

It is a protest vote from genuine long term fans of CBB who don't want to see the show they love become just another version of GS, EOTB, TOWIE, etc. It is a protest vote for genuine, decent housemates with morals over the infantile, selfish, conceited and one-dimensional housemates whose bullying and degrading actions have suffocated other housemates and destroyed this series, making it the worse CBB we have ever had.

It's just some viewers guilt manifesting itself for secretly liking any of the others ...

The con artist, the unfit mother, the racist, the love cheat, the gangsters wife, the Hitler supporter, the porn star granny, the Brother exploiting his sisters fame, the big head female, the big head male, the 43 year old Boominator who picks on young girls.

Now James has gone they only have Ricky left and even he likes to have a Tommy Tank on live web cams with a joint in one hand and his todger in the other.

Don't know why Bear is the only poster boy for this shower of reprobates....he's in good company IMO.

Ricky was always going to top the vote. Eastenders has a massive audience. Ex on the beach is also popular, but i doubt it gets as many viewers. But enough to keep Bear in. So these two being the top two makes sense to me.

Yeah, she won based on the anti-Katie Hopkins vote and the same could very well happen with Ricky and the anti-Bear vote. It's pretty tragic in all honesty.

I wished her well too at the start...thought she had been given a raw deal by the press in the past and deserved another chance...but clearly getting older hasn't given her any humility and she's still defensive and unable to laugh at herself.

If they ever did a 'young teen BB' Bear would fit better I think. Although many of the teens would be more mature and less self centred so maybe a 'below 12 BB' would be more suitable?

I really disliked Katie Hopkins, and probably would have voted for anyone except her, regardless of who they were, but I loved Katie Price so I don't think she won because of that (and I wasn't a fan of hers before the show, I actually couldn't stand her before CBB, so it wasn't a pre-existing fanbase vote from me). I know none of that's really relevant :laugh: but it always gets said about Katie Price's win when actually I think a lot of people like myself just thought she was a great housemate.
