Bear injuring Sam's eye

This series is an absolute joke - Biggins kicked out for controversial comments but physically harming another housemate is fine?

Pete. 23-08-2016 08:59 PM

If he's injured her he should get kicked out (and he fractured her eye membrane). Honestly Ofcom should be regulating the producers not the content

reece(: 23-08-2016 08:59 PM

Plus he was on his final warning was he not.........

Vanessa 23-08-2016 09:00 PM

How many threads do we need about this? One is not enough?

Alf 23-08-2016 09:02 PM

Sam over-exaggerating as usual.

jaxie 23-08-2016 09:02 PM

I'm afraid I have to take what Sam says with a pinch of salt unless we actually see it because she comes over to me as someone who is mostly drunk or on something and she exaggerates wildly. 16 marshmellows became 19. Obviously if Bear had hurt her deliberately he should have been evicted, but without seeing it, it might not have happened in the way it was told and could have been an insignificant accident. We have to judge on the facts we see.

y.winter 23-08-2016 09:02 PM

Finish this series alreadyyy. Ugh, so many flaws in 4 weeks, it's a disgrace.

Don't you come for me when you make about 10 similar Bear threads a day Vanessa.

Vicky. 23-08-2016 09:03 PM

I knew there would be a fuss about this...in Sams own words he...squirted water at her. Jesus...

Exactly, it was an accident.

If it happened exactly as she said, there isn't even an issue, though those who dislike Bear will obviously make it into one. Yes her contact lense got stuck, hence medic. But squirting water at someone does not an aggressive act make...

He tricked her into looking into a bottle and squirted water so hard into her eyes she had to wear a patch.

If somebody did that to you in work or did it to a child of yours in school and injured them I'm sure you would want it dealt with.

Withano 23-08-2016 09:09 PM

Bears best case scenario was he accidentally put two women in physical pain in the space of the month. His best case scenario describes a twat, can we not defend this please. Its completely gross.

Worst case scenario he intentionally attempted to irritate/humiliate/hurt at least two women and should have been ejected long ago. MTV probably demanded a good edit.

Dealt with in what way? I may call them a twat and then that would be it. Its an accident...jesus. I have had a bloody contact go up under my eyelid just from turning to look at something too fast, so its not exactly rare.

If someone did it to a child, thats quite different and I am sure you know that. Though I don't know any kids who wear contacts, so I don't think it could actually happen...

Which could come in useful if she decides to "sue". Oh and the number of times has Bear been warned about his actions hurting people, would be useful too. Having said that Bear will of course be "Let off" as usual.

Well yes but she was obviously making a big deal of it in how she went on about it.

Vicky. 23-08-2016 09:14 PM

However, I don't see why BB cut it all out..that is rather weird. Especially given they showed like 10 mins of Bear talking about the party. I know they had shorter highlights than usual tonight but come on...

It sounded like an accident with some water to me. What second woman did he physically hurt?

It's not as bad as spitting in someones food and drink and letting them masticate it.

user104658 23-08-2016 09:15 PM

This exact thing actually happened with two of my friends when I was a teen... one threw a drink at the other as a joke and it knocked his contact lens up under his eyelid. Should he have called the police?

Yes it's a stupid prank but it's an accident, he didn't intend to hurt anyone, and probably had no idea she was wearing contact lesnes. All that's required in a situation like that is an explanation of why it's a bad idea / dangerous... you don't punish people for a mistake as if they intended it.

Amy Jade 23-08-2016 09:17 PM

It's no accident if he tricked her into looking into the bottle. He intended, at least, to humiliate her. They aren't friends so he didn't do it to make her laugh.

Northern Monkey 23-08-2016 09:18 PM

Sounds like an accident.Plus she pied him before. It's not his fault she's got dodgy eyes and needs contacts

Why do you keep emphasising "women"? Is it because women are precious wittle flowers who we must handle with kiddy gloves and cotton wool? :hehe: I know Sam still lives back in the 80's with mumsy but the rest of us have made it all the way to 2016.

And no I'm not saying it's "ok to beat up women", I'm just saying that we have at some point - surely - realised that they are not precious flowers who are off-limits for physical contact.

Nah, most of us would look at it as a joke gone bad with no malice intended, but there again, most of us are not PC and dont take life so seriously

Well I think it's a horrible thing to do, she clearly never found it funny and it resulted in her being injured.

If you find that funny then go ahead, I find it dangerous and pathetic.

He obviously didn't deliberately do it to dislodge her contact lense ffs..
Sam does like to talk about herself and big herself up...she was embarressing tonight.

hot2go 23-08-2016 09:27 PM

Clearly wasn't intending to damage her eye.....people will jump on any chance to paint him in a bad way and I find it boring....Sam is a bitter person anyway....her whole interview was negative as was her face throughout and again tonight

She was trying to get him in trouble. But all he did is squirt some water. Hardly assault

Spitting in someones food and drink and letting them consume it is a terrible thing to do but you still like Aubrey.
