I know Bear has been an oik and has wound people up a lot but he has also been funny and he's made them work for their fee, even those who have coasted along have had to put up with antics.

The spitting incident really bothered me and it was never dealt with to my satisfaction. I would have brought the ****ing house down if it was me that ate and drank spit. :fist:

What I don't get is how some people can hate Bear so much that they call him scum but think it was ok for Aubrey to spit in his food and drink and that he deserves it. What is it that tells people that her spitting in his food and drink is ever ok? :shrug:

He hasn't done anything but be annoying to people. He hasn't been aggressive and he hasn't done anything vile like that. If there is any justice, Aubrey who has sailed through without noms will be first out tonight and Bear who has given us a show and a real social experiment will win.

If Bear wins then it's just encouraging BB to make a one man Big Brother all of the time and that's not on imo.

A vote against Bear to win is a vote for BB to be restored to a more BB17, BB13, CBB13 styled editing.

I think the people in there overall have been abysmal. There isn't anyone else for a win IMO. I say this as someone who isn't really a Bear fan. I don't think he's been the bees knees, I don't find him remotely attractive. But I think he has played an amazing game. And I do enjoy BB when we see it as a glimpse of the social experiment it's meant to be.

You have to take each series as it comes and there is no point in harking for it be like this or that other CBB. It isn't that show. A vote against Bear isn't a vote for any styled editing, that's just a fantasy. I think a vote against Bear is a vote for someone who doesn't deserve a win.

I prefer a boring series rather than a boring-in-disguise series.
If the plot is not organic, you can smell it straight away, and it doesn't smell good.
Let's not be desperate to call the act of Bear sweating to cause interest entertainment. It's not.

The simple answer is he is male :hee: Renee on the other hand who has been foul mouth, childish in the extreme ..not speaking...sitting alone...trying to use her influence to isolate Bear, threatened violence on Bear from her "friends " on the outside, knew Aubrey spat in his food though at that point they were friends, is being held up as some paragon of truth and virtue, you literally could write the script on here at times :hee: she should be getting equal if not more "hate" but no

I don't want Renee to win either as the show would love to have one of their MTV people to win.

In my eyes voting for Bear, Renee, Marnie, or Aubrey (even though I like her) to win is gonna make BB think that it's okay to cast more Housemates that argue constantly, make a negative impact in the house, crying constantly, making constant physical threats on other Housemates, and trashy acts such as spitting in someones food or drink.

I was about to quote the op and comment on a few of the points but honestly, i consider about 12 of the points to be unfactual and i just cant be bothered to put the time in. You say hes been funny, not aggressive, not annoying. I can assure you that many people disagree entirely. Also a lot of people believe he has completely ruined the series and i think a lot of hate comes from that, this is most of our favourite programme and to have it ruined by one chimp is infuriating.

renee and aubrey destoryed bear's shoes, which was not shown. renee and aubrey always get quite generous edits by bb.

So does Bear and Marnie according to Liam's thread.

He's destroyed quite a few of his own jumping in the pool with his clothes on! :)

Renee has been equally culpable in ruining the series, she's given him airtime, arguing with him, giving him the cold shoulder, making up with him, throwing herself at him, showing jealousy over Chloe, you can't lay it all at his feet, James played him perfectly apart from Coffeegate, as did Ricky, Renee used him for airtime no question

You are totally right about Renee but why is there such a bias about females? I'm a woman and if the women in the house are a bunch of losers well I can deal with that. I don't have to like someone because they are a woman.

Disagree with you about Renee, Jaxie, but completely agree with your point about women. :)

I think people on the Forums get defensive over the females on Reality Shows because they're at a disadvatage from the offset.

Like in this series even if Aubrey hadn't have done the spitting incident she still wouldn't have had a chance at winning even though she's been less offsensive than Bear and Renee in most other areas imo, and imo I feel is more interesting than both of them too.

So you didn't actually read what I said then in your can't be botherdness because I said bear is annoying. :shrug:

Anybody antiratpack improved the show for me tbh. I can see why others would ask Renee to share the blame, not me though.

Renee is only against them because Bear doesn't fancy her.

Aubrey and Frankie are the real ones against Bear.

Except its really not. A 'vote against Bear' (especially if you wouldn't hate voted had it not been Bear) is playing directly into the producers hands. No editing will change, nothing will change. if anything if they get a ton of extra votes despite the show losing viewers, it will encourage the biased editing more :laugh:

But y'all continue punishing them for the terrible editing by lining their pockets. That will sure show them :D

Also if this protest vote rubbish must go ahead, may I suggest Renee as the recipient instead of Ricky. Ricky has been a nothing more than wallpaper with amazing eyes. Renee has been amazing. I can't really understand those who would vote just to STOP someone winning though rather than to try and help their fave win :laugh:

I can't vote at the moment due to personal reasons, but the public do need to let the production know what type of Housemates that they want to be the norm on BB and it's not Bear dominating airtime.

She had a crush on Bear and when he showmanced with Chloe was when she turned on him.

He is a bully, antagonistic and a manipulator. His treatment of others is disgusting and he really doesn't care about anyone but himself. He is vile..

Some people just have different morals i guess.Personally i find tainting somebody elses food with bodily fluids and wanting somebody to be killed by contract killers and comparing them to cancer to worse than making a coffee cocktail or bursting a balloon.But hey i'm just funny like that i guess

Despite being a Bear fan, I agree. I think the whole series being centred around one person is a bit crap tbh

But voting, when you wouldn't usually...to 'spite' them is really silly. Not voting at all, and switching off (only counts if you have a barb box though :fist: ) is the way to go. Not filling their pockets :D

I haven't had one favourite since the beginning of this series. I just want Ricky to win to see all of their faces. If being normal is sitting on the fence then I worry this show will get more mentally ill people like bear on this show. There have been crazy people on big brother who I've loved but I don't like any of the finalists apart from Ricky and Aubrey. I know Ricky doesn't putter glitter all over himself and acts overdramatic about everything making me want to turn off the tv like Frankie. He doesn't scream and cry 24/7 and always talks about where he comes from like Renee who goes about her mafia. He doesn't follow and isn't a imbecile like Marnie who I think is that stupid she needs to go back to school. He isn't an attention seeker and thinks he's so amazing and funny that everyone loves him like bear who is getting tedious. That's why I'm voting Ricky

I hope you never experience that dreadful disease in your life or family. It's not a word I would use so lightly having seen the suffering it causes.

Bear fans are annoying to a Bear fan like me....he is top of the polls on here and has clearly got a huge following in general yet there are only a handful of us who own it on here and support him...every thread gets sabotaged by Bear haters yet hardly any of the many Bear fans back him on this forum.
Maybe the haters scare them away...be sad if that's true....I would never give them that much power...I feel sorry for people who celebrate their hate more than they celebrate their joy....they must be very unhappy individuals

I back him if he is in the right but say if he is in the wrong :shrug:

Supporting someone doesn't mean thinking they crap rainbows and sweat fairy dust you know :S

I don't really understand those who refuse to budge from a default 'he is right' position anymore than I understand people who exaggerate everything he does and refuse to accept when he does anything right.
