It ain't just teenage girls voting. It's middle aged and geriatric emotionally stunted male and female fantasists too. They don't vocalise their watching publicly but they are voting and deriving a strange pleasure from voting from the most shallow place of their existence. :joker:

To be fair, it was pretty obvious at the beginning of CBB16 James would win. It's not just teenage girls that vote. In the public eye, he's the golden boy and always does right and never does wrong. And although I found every single thing James did calculated and especially fake considering he was a prat on The Apprentice, his consistency and level-headedness is why he earned the win. And honestly who even would've been a good winner at that point. It's one of the worst set of finalists ever.

Scotty T also had an obvious win and I'll agree he's a bad winner. But he's just a toned down version of James. So I can understand him winning. He's pretty harmless as an individual so I'm mostly just indifferent on his win.

Jason and Bear are absolutely dire though.

I was especially mad when the last two won

i don't love James but I like him and compared to other winners we get on this show he's great

Jason is by far the best winners out of those, Bear is quite a good winner and then James and Scotty T are just tragic

Not sure what them being male has to do with it. We've had "appalling" female winners in Chloe and Denise Welch too.

Jason was good and Scotty was tolerable.

And what does "all male" have to do with anything?

I felt that Jason earnt the winners title by actually playing the game and although he might not have been as entertaining as Hughie, I felt that he was more real and Hughie was perhaps "playing the game" the bad way.

Obviously Tiffany should have won Scotty's year but he's definately a better winner than Stephanie (can you imagine having an all villian winner year??)

I also really liked James and he definately wasn't boring but I would rather have Janice or Scoop win that year, but again, better than Austin.

Bear was inevitably gonna win as most people I know wanted him to win and he's very intriging, I still can't decide whether I like him or not. I didn't find him annoying or anything, he was a dick sometimes but overall I don't really mind him winning (I'd prefer Ricky though) but with what happened on the live feed and the accusations of it being fixed, I'm pretty sure a lot of anti Bear voters didn't even vote as they thought they were wasting their money.

James was the better choice out of the final 2, Scotty seems quite harmless in comparison to Bear (even though I didn't want him to win), Jason was a good winner and Bear is basically a win for Viacom. Only two out of those four are bad winners.

The meltdowns over bear winning are a hoot.

James was a nice guy, Scotty was decent in the house (he didn't deserve to win but he was okay) Jason is the best of the lot of them but Bear is worse than Helen Wood.

Tbh even though it seems like they are all pretty similar, they actually are extremely different from each other and won for different reasons each.

James won because he is British and came across as a nice lad.
Scotty won because people hated Stephanie. Geordie Shore didn't hurt as well.
Jason won because people pitied him in a way, but also saw the moral winner in him. A typical BB-winner tbh.
And Bear won because all the others were either American or plain boring. Ricky was even for the Bear-haters too boring to vote for.

Summed up nicely (though I can't comment on James, didn't bother with that series when I saw Farrah Abraham's name)

Jason was a great winner, the others are complete trash.

In my opinion, although neither James or Scotty were my chosen winners, James was a decent winner whereas Scotty T was okay-ish.

Jason, to me, was boring and unforgettable, and Hughie was the housemate I enjoyed most and will always remember from that series - he was robbed! I didn't enjoy Bear as a housemate, and am disheartened by his win.

Scotty T and Bear are diabolical.

James is severely underrated on here imo. He wasn't the /most/ entertaining, but he certainly held his own, especially compared to other winners.

James was awful and only won because of his looks.

Scotty T did nothing either.

Jason played the victim role and won off that.

And Bear played the obnoxious troll role from his Viacom show.

Basically I agree with Elliebrew to an extent.

James should thank Austin and Farrah for giving him screentime.

It could've been worse, the last four winners could've been Austin Armacost, Stephanie Davis, Jackson and Marnie...

Most of the recent winners have been pretty poor. Jordan only won because the viewers had a bit of conscience and didn't vote for the attention seeking Perez. This year they decided to vote for the attention seeker as there wasn't a Jordan to fall back on. Scotty T was a better person than he appears on Geordie Shore but a pretty meh winner. Jason deserved it though, because although he wasn't particularly entertaining he did have a hard journey.
