I love them , my dad always made them on Boxing Day , with cold meats and pickles . I do make them myself and you've reminded me , must have some soon Yumm. Our local chippy sells them but they are not as nice as homemade.

Same, like once on holiday they had chicken scallops with like cheese inside and I was scared it was fish because it said scallops.

And I started eating it at the table and my parents said it's fish and like I nearly puked but obvs it wasn't.

I was like 7 at the time.

Yes. The things we were taught were called 'Scallops' were deep fried thinly sliced potato in batter. I HATED them.
