Decision to edit Stacey out racist?

She seems feisty and entertaining so it must be.Thoughts?

Firewire 03-01-2017 10:01 PM

No it's not

No one suggested editing out Ray J, who is also black

Ashley. 03-01-2017 10:02 PM

Well considering the fact that they all loved Ray J, I'd say no.

Only because he's associated with Kim K and they want the tea. Calum actually knowing her and saying he likes did nothing to change their mind they were determined to put her up for whatever reason

Not even close to being racist but people love to kick up a ridiculous fuss over nothing.

It was only really James who wanted her out

Jasmine only said her name because she picked her at random

James is picking on someone he sees as weak

Black Dagger 03-01-2017 10:05 PM

Not really. I don't think the 'I HAD A FIGHT WITH WHITNEY' endeared them.

smudgie 03-01-2017 10:06 PM

Nope.
Might be a case of get rid of the competition, it is all game after all.
She came across as. Entertaining with a good personality....major threat to anyone wanting to win.

Jamie89 03-01-2017 10:06 PM

I don't know if racism had anything to do with it, but I don't understand their reasons for 'editing her out'... they said it was because she was entertaining and would be even more entertaining if she was chosen, or something? Even though they were asked to pick the least entertaining... I dunno, it didn't make any sense to me.

That's a good point actually

By the looks of things, they "edited her out" because they thought she'd kick off about it and therefore be entertaining... I would've probably done the same... I suppose I'm a racist, too?

MTVN 03-01-2017 10:07 PM

Probably not racist but I don't really understand their reasoning. Can only think they felt on the spot and just settled on the one none of them really know/have ties to/felt any immediate affection for

EspeonBB 03-01-2017 10:07 PM

I don't think it was racism but I don't see how they can deem her the 'least entertaining' over the DJ and the footballer

Tom4784 03-01-2017 10:07 PM

James seemed determined to pick her but no one else did, I'd say it's less to do with racism and probably more to do with the fact that James seems a bit intimidated by strong women.

Then why was she more likely to kick off than the others

Do any of you know what true racism is.

This as well

Marsh. 03-01-2017 10:10 PM

Who even is she?

Amy Jade 03-01-2017 10:10 PM

I am fuming they picked her but i dont think it was racist

Braden 03-01-2017 10:11 PM

I just hope she doesn't think that. She looked really disturbed by the decision.

I honestly do not get how Jamie came across as someone who would be entertaining. However, I think Dezzy is completely right about James being intimidated by strong women, but I think he also wants to rile her up. It's a good decision though because she seems like the sort of person who would deliver, but will she even be in the highlights :p

Amy Jade 03-01-2017 10:11 PM

I blame Coleen and James

Bianca seemed more scary in the VT. But she's blonde so I guess they weren't too intimidated.

:omgno: Poor Whitney.

y.winter 03-01-2017 10:15 PM

No. I can see where they were coming from - not British so that's a disadvantage, not really known, she came out less exciting than the others.
It's not always the black thing.

it's just too much blackblackblackallyouwearisblack.gif

Check out the dictionary definition of bullying and you have EXACTLY what BB have made them do to someone.

Because they were watching her when she entered the house and saw that she was quite outspoken, whereas everyone else was, on the other hand, relatively reserved. The choice was down to personality, not colour, and I think it's a little too early to call everyone racist for daring to mention Stacey's name.

A pronoun.

James Jordan and Jamie O'Hara are the new Jack and Danielle?

(Screaming @ people tarnishing Jamie with the same brush just because he was married to her)

Yeah, I think that's more of a American/British thing though. James is aware of Gazza's legacy, and Stacy was an easy target.
