Reports: Charles Manson passed away
 

Charles Manson has been taken from prison to a hospital in Bakersfield, Calif., according to various news reports.

Manson, 82, was taken to the emergency room at Mercy Hospital Downtown, the Bakersfield Californian reported it was told by a source.

The cause was gastrointestinal problems, TMZ reported.

The Los Angeles Times reported a source described Manson as "seriously ill."

A spokeswoman at Mercy Hospital Downtown did not respond to two telephone messages or a text left Tuesday night.

Manson has been serving nine life sentences at Corcoran State Prison in Corcoran, Calif., for leading the 1969 Manson Family cult murders of actress Sharon Tate, then 26, and others during a two-night killing spree.

though he's a murderer, i feel sad for him now being ill :(

He's 82 people don't live forever, especially if you stab them in the face.

I hope he suffers in agony. And I think I'm probably not alone in that.

well he's also a person, maybe just very mentally ill, having committed all these horrible murders


i know i can't justify what he has done in the past, but i don't want him to suffer, it would make me be just like him :(

Wishing a murderer dead doesn 't make you the same. Unless you're going to go out and slaughter a bunch of people.

Yeah, isn't not a bad thing to see the good in others Nicky... some people are beyond redemption though.

He made others suffer in agony with no compassion whatsoever. Any pain he may feel will never match the pain he inflicted on others.

He deserves to suffer, but unfortunately due to people who think like this he will not. No one but the victims or their families have the right to forgive him for his crimes.

This is the guy who didn't actually murder anyone himself isn't it? Quite a fascinating (and sick) case. How the **** you can convince others to murder for you...its insane.

Having said that..I would not be bothered if this was a serious illness at all. Infact, pretty much what livia said in the first reply...

A charming dominant psychopath. He took great pleasure in grooming others to do his dirty work but he also committed murder. He once ordered two of his girls to go into an elderly couples house and tie them both up in chairs facing one another. Once the girls had done this, he went in to finish them off.

He should of been put down a long time ago.

He should have gotten a lesser sentence due to the very large amount of lsd in his system.

Would they have done it if they hadnt all been on a massive lsd binge...its hardly sympathising with someone..i just like the law and facts to be fair adam.

He is scum of the earth and should have had his right to breathe taken away years ago you can not blame drugs on being a murderer

No they are just vile nasty individuals who all loved to kill and cause families pain nothing to do with drugs.

By that logic we could all just dose up on LSD if we planned to murder someone and we'd get off lightly because of it :laugh:

Anything you do under the influence of drugs or alcohol is your own responsibility. And if you go on a killing spree because of it, you were likely a nutter to begin with.

Shouldn't take it then should they. They did what they did, drugs or no drugs, no one forced them to take them. Besides many have taken that crap but not gone on to brutally murder people.

I have no time for people who try and make excuses for the worst of society, if you do that to other people you are a scumbag and deserve the very worst society can do.
